  1. FYI, I found some service issues in the event log to do with DCOM and a Gamer service, fixed these and retried MT DCS. It crashed again after about 30 mins in a different mission. I'm switching back to the no threads version. dcs.log dcs.log-20240331-173043.zip
  2. So ran the MemTest86 twice now, first time I just let it run because the info I found online about it said that the results would be posted in the event log... However, I could not find the results only the scheduled start 'MemoryDiagnostics-Schedule', its apparently supposed to post a result with the heading 'MemoryDiagnostics-Result' in the event log but I cannot find this or any related event other than the schedule event mentioned earlier. That said, I watched the first test till 100% on the first pass, and the second test through to 100% on both passes, no errors were found. I have since restarted the mission 15 in the campaign with Multi-Threading disabled, this time the mission did not crash. Get shot down by an SA3 on the way home though... dcs.log
  3. Thanks for the tip, I'll try a mem test later, please find attached the zip file you requested. dcs.log-20240330-122802.zip
  4. Hi, whilst attempting to complete Raven One Dominant Fury campaign, mission 15, the game crashes at random points during it. I say random but the game has crashed at least 4 times during or just after the in flight refueling at the start of the mission. Very frustrating! I cannot say if the issue involves this specific mission or if the issue was introduces after the last update, I have not run any missions in the RODF campaign since the update. I've run a full check on the game files and no problems were detected. I've also turned off all unnecessary tool/apps like the Riva tuner and AI Suite 3. I have attached the latest dcs.logs that contains the last two crashs, they contain the following pointers. Ill try and re-run the mission again without using the multi-threaded version. Any help would be greatly appreciated: Todays crash: 2024-03-30 12:28:01.952 INFO EDCORE (Main): try to write dump information 2024-03-30 12:28:01.996 INFO EDCORE (Main): # -------------- 20240330-122802 -------------- 2024-03-30 12:28:01.996 INFO EDCORE (Main): DCS/2.9.3.51704 (x86_64; MT; Windows NT 10.0.22631) 2024-03-30 12:28:01.996 INFO EDCORE (Main): E:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt\edCore.dll 2024-03-30 12:28:01.997 INFO EDCORE (Main): # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 00007ffc67718785 00:00000000 2024-03-30 12:28:01.997 INFO EDCORE (Main): SymInit: Symbol-SearchPath: 'E:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt;', symOptions: 532, UserName: 'stuar' Yesterday last crash: 2024-03-29 17:41:14.581 INFO EDCORE (5700): try to write dump information 2024-03-29 17:41:14.689 INFO EDCORE (5700): # -------------- 20240329-174114 -------------- 2024-03-29 17:41:14.689 INFO EDCORE (5700): DCS/2.9.3.51704 (x86_64; MT; Windows NT 10.0.22631) 2024-03-29 17:41:14.690 INFO EDCORE (5700): E:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt\dx11backend.dll 2024-03-29 17:41:14.690 INFO EDCORE (5700): # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 00007ffb31eb694c 00:00000000 2024-03-29 17:41:14.690 INFO EDCORE (5700): SymInit: Symbol-SearchPath: 'E:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin-mt;', symOptions: 532, UserName: 'stuar' dcs.log dcs.log.old
  5. Dear DCS chaps, Is there a way of modifying my configuration so that when I'm in my A10C II I see the main view of the cockpit running on my 49 inch monitor in the center with it running in a 32inch sized screen with the MFD's running in the spaces on the unused portions left and right of the main view? I see an option in for the screen configuration to split the screen in to 3 equal parts but I'd like to modify the aspect ratio of the main view (cockpit) so that is larger in proportion then the MFD screens. In addition, is there a way to just have the main view running on a 27 or 32 inch portion centered on my 49 inch monitor so that I only see black bars on either side? Thanks in advance, Stuart
