No luck so far on Quest Link! I've checked all devices for the "power savings" setting. For sure Link still broken, but. I bought a Virtual Desktop finally. I have an old rig with i7 Gen 9 + 32 GB + 2070 + WiFi 1Gb mesh node in 5 meters and I was not expecting any miracle, but, again. With default settings it was not worse than Link, it has stable 72 fps even in ground attacks. Truely amazing, why Meta not using the same technology over 5 Gb cable!? Here comes the "but" again. The real problem, in my case, is random stuttering! Very annoying but still playable. It can be compensated by lowering the bps in cost of picture quality. And YES, the colors are really vibrant, thanks to the "vibrant colors" setting. Should be off, imho. I will definitely continue to explore Virtual Desktop... Ah, I almost forgot to mention the hand controls. Not usable at this time...

Hi Qcumber, The reason for the higher price is that this is not an ordinary USB cable, but the fiber optic cable with a bandwidth of up to 5 Gbps. https://www.meta.com/quest/accessories/link-cable/ Yes, the Link app is default to OpenXR. I am beginning to suspect the cable itself... I have a WiFi5 mesh node which is connected to my fiber router with CAT5 cable and PC is connected to the same router with CAT5 as well. I believe this is enough to do the job.

Hi All Sorry for the delay 1. Uninstalled Meta device, by the way after new driver was installed, now it is called Oculus XRSP Interface. 2. Disabled the Power Management on all hubs 3. Quest 3 received some minor update since then. Unfortunately, nothing works for me! It's a disaster. With no other choice, I'm going to test the Virtual Desktop. Actually, I am really skeptical about it. 1Gb wireless can't be better than 3Gb (in my case) optic cable! Finally, the cable itself cost me $80 and I need to spend $25 more! Thanks guys!

Hello! I have a question for those who use Quest 3 with Oculus Link Software. In my case, no extra tools, no extra settings, original Oculus link cable. I have used Quest 3 for almost 2 years. No issues, never! My Link and device both received updates some days before. Since then, very randomly, the "Link stopped working" error. Sometimes it happens after minutes of gameplay and sometimes I am able to finish the mission. Nothing helpful from Meta support. I tried to repair the Link Software, factory reset my Quest. Nothing helps! Has anyone experienced this ever? Any help appreciated! Thanks!

Campaign introduction
RedLion replied to Sandman Simulations's topic in DCS: F/A-18C Operation Mountain Breeze Campaign
For sure Actually, I manualy modify the logbook file after each mission. As an option, you can create another campaign file with no intros included. Thanks a lot for a very decent product! -
Campaign introduction
RedLion replied to Sandman Simulations's topic in DCS: F/A-18C Operation Mountain Breeze Campaign
At first, this campaign was a bit frustrating. The constant shouting from the wing leader to "get back into formation!" quickly became annoying and making it hard to enjoy the experience. However, much like in real life—and likely in any simulation—success often comes from practice and perseverance. Once I got the hang of things, I found the challenge rewarding. If you can push through the initial irritation, there’s a solid game waiting for you. I can confidently say that this campaign has dramatically improved my formation flying skills! I personally found the intros and outros a bit annoying, especially given the detailed documentation available. However, once I figured out how to skip them, my enjoyment of the game significantly increased. That said, this is just my personal opinion! Debriefing, on the other hand, is a good idea. In conclusion, I’d like to thank the Sandman team for creating such an enjoyable experience. Two thumbs up! -
fixed for next update Raven one mission (NOT domiant fury)
RedLion replied to RogansKirby's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hello everyone, I've been attempting to replay the campaign following the latest update on August 20, 2024. MT, VR The same issue occurred with M02; it was skipped. In M03, the wingman heads for refueling and becomes perpetually stuck behind the tanker. Meanwhile, campaigns from Badger are running smoothly. -
Dear DCS, This been asked for many times but remains unresolved Please disable wingmen reports! When they starts reporting every second they became useless! They stop respond to any command! I can silence them as seen on the picture but this doesn't help to communicate with them.

user error Cannot bomb anymore with the latest update,
RedLion replied to SUHANG's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hi Suhang, Before you enter the mission, access the mission editor and reselect all ag munitions. Right click on the load and click on the selected bomb. Then enter the fuse settings and confirm. Start the mission. -
Before each mission, access planner and reselect all ag weapons. Just click on the selected bomb in the list. Then access the fuse section and press OK.

Hi! Same here

OK, This is a bug! Now, before every mission I need to reselect the weapons...

Hi, After the last update, DCS 2.9.6.57650 - 11.07.2024, bombs stopped detonating, regardless of which fuses were installed.
