  1. Hi.

can you make it possible to re arrange or hide some module icons (the list that shows at the bottom of the page)

many mods that are not exactly playable just drop there.

or maybe we own the KAs, the A-10A, the C and the CII, and only want to use the A?  or we fly the Hornet and the Apache mostly, but we have to scroll a lot to get there

thanks... keep it improvig... will deff need bigger M2 drive for Xmass is we keep putting maps out

  2. i did remove all single mods and previous packs... did check the entry.lua for all that remained.

placed only the china assets and it crashed (report and all)

deleted the whole tech folder and copied back the single units mods... works ok.

sorry to say, ill have to keep outdated... luckly I think I have most of your great mods

Check your RAM usage with windows task manager during mission. If DCS does not fill up your RAM completely after or during a more complex mission, you will not see any benefits from more RAM. If DCS creeps towards ~30 GB, but the whole system keeps being responsive when alt-tabbing and/or directly after closing DCS, you're probably still fine, but might see some minor improvments in certain cases. If however DCS takes ~30 GB and your whole computer gets less responsive when alt-tabbing, or when your computer takes a few seconds to be responsive again after DCS closes, you will most certainly see benefits with more ram.
Another indicator that you "need" more ram, would be that DCS performance gets worse, the longer you play. If you however see DCS perform badly in certain situation, while DCS RAM usage sits well below 30 GB then again RAM size is NOT the problem!

I would guess (but that's really just a guess) that for Singleplayer you should mostly be fine with 32 GB. It depends mostly on the complexity od the scenario. Only way to know for sure, is to check RAM usage yourself.

I play 1920 x 1080 on a 27" Viewsonic (its the native resolution)... I have another 27" and a 12" hooked to the 1660Super but not running anything on them when I play

  5. On a similar note:

I have a I5 9600K, 32 GB  of DDR4 Corsair RAM, a Geforce GT1660 super (6gb) and the game and all saves are on an M2 solid state

would increasing ram to 64 GB have a positive impact? I do single player mostly

I would consider getting a 3060 graphic card and leaving the 32 GB Ram (I live outside the US so any upgrade would have to pay shipping and duties or pay the vendors here a lot more than the regular listed AMAZON prices, so anything considered is at least 25% more that Amazon.

    comments are more than welcome

    Thanks

  6. hi, please see attached image.

One of those modules prevented DCS from loading... it crashed to Steam after a few seconds of the small DCS logo

i did remove DCS and reinstalled, so I began disabling all mods and testing..

I think somethig in last fridays/saturday beta patch is conflicting, neither Steam nor stand alone worked

I had those installed last week of july 2023, before DCS rolled the beta

I bought Black Shark 2 from Steam and later i migrated to stand alone, and i see the full price...

    same here.

i show black shark 2 as a Steam license, dated Sept 2013 (and is DCS Black Shark, long before DCS world. and on DCS stand alone  it shows as Feb 2016

I can buy the upgrade on Stand Alone for $9.99, if I do, is there any way to take it to steam?

    questions/commets, help? do I make a ticket?null

I'm very interested in starting in 3d printing, but am a little reluctant concerning costs. I still haven't recovered from the economical impact of the pandemic.

How much does a print like this usually cost, including tests and prototyping? What printer do you have?

    Cheers

the thing to consider also is electronics, you might have to spend some time looking for th switches/buttons et al that will fit the printed grips...  or else, dive into 3d draftign, and modify the internal cavities to accept the ones that you did find
