  1. No joy, the only thing the thumbstick is doing is causing the mast to spin continuously, the buttons with that can be swapped between two and four-way hats are the most finicky on the stick, they do not have axis.
  2. I don't have a Virpil base, but I threw it on my collective while running the Virpil software, no luck.
  3. I now have the tumbstick working; however, I can only bind it to Horizontal or Vertical slew (for the Kiowa's MMS camera) as it's only being recognized as a singular axis, if that makes sense. Once bound, I lose all control over the camera as it spins round and round.
  4. Howdy folks, I just picked up the Virpil Flnkr grip to use with my Moza AB9 base. Going into this, I knew there would be some compatibility issues based on posts I had read. For the most part, the grip is amazing, and at the end of the day, I can live with some of the missing features and funky issues. I had also reached out to Moza's support team to get some additional information, but that has since gone unanswered. To get to the point of this post, are these issues a result of hardware limitations, or is this something that Moza can address in a future firmware update? To others interested in using the Flnkr with the AB9, here is what you should expect/know based on my experience: You have to switch the Moza Cockpit profile to one of the other Virpil sticks, like the Alpha. Before doing this, I had a few buttons not being recognized, but after switching the profile, they were good to go. Swapping to the 4-way hat switches is very finicky and has a tendency to pick up the incorrect directional input when pressing it (i.e., you push up and it activates the down input). The thumb joystick axis is not recognized, and presumably the pinky trigger axis as well, although I have not tested it yet. The lights don't work on a foreign base (as far as I can tell). Some of these issues could very well be a result of something I'm doing wrong, and any feedback/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. At the end of the day, I am still very happy with my purchase and have already enjoyed a good few hours using it. If you are thinking about picking one up and the above does not phase you, I highly encourage you to pull the trigger! Ps. When I purchased the stick, it was on backorder; it only took about a week to get delivered, so don't let the backorder status influence your decision too much. Have a great day all!
  5. Lol thank you, I knew it was something incredibly stupid. I unmapped the wing sweep modes from my HOTAS a while ago as I thought it was conflicting with something else and that fixed the issue.
  6. Hello all and happy holidays! I apologize if this question is hidden somewhere in the depths of the forums but I've done my best to search high and low for an answer and have come up dry. My friends and I have been experiencing this issue for going on a few months now. When extending the wings on the F14, locking the lever down and closing the guard the wings always sweep back to it's furthest position, we have tried utilizing the master reset button and that works maybe 5% of the time. I am almost 99% sure we are screwing something up which is causing this issue and I was hoping someone here would be kind enough to point it out. The reason I say that is because whenever we are in a hot start on an airfield and the wings start swept out we do not run in to this issue however if we use a cold start or hot start on a carrier we run in to this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
