I have a mission with a CH-53 (vanilla DCS AI aircraft) that performs a simulated VIP pickup task, flying into a very hostile environment which escorts are meant to protect it from. However, the issue I'm having is that no matter what I try, the CH-53 appears to be totally invincible to enemy fire. When I change the same flight to a UH-1 it seems to properly take damage (or at least it did when this flight was originally a group of UH-1s).
I don't have the immortal flag set to `true` and in fact have tried explicitly setting it to `false` at several waypoints in order to get this to work right. There's not much fun in having an escort mission where the VIP transport can't be destroyed. If anyone has an idea what might be going on, I would really appreciate any comments. I'll attach the current mission file as is for inspection if you're curious.
