  1. Thank you, Badger. That is what I was missing I didnt get it that pri and aux were radios and the digits were the channels. Seems simple, but I misunderstood somehow.
  2. Hi, thanks for this campaign. I'm 6 or so missions in. I just have a question about radios/comms. Everything is working fine, I have easy comms disabled and I can manage to get the comms working right during the mission. But there is stuff I don't understand - new at the radio stuff as I generally use easy comms or discord during online. I find myself running through the entire radio 1 knob looking for the right frequency and then the radio 2 know too if I can't find it. Just confused about these terminologies and wanted to get it right. When the pilot says "push pri1" that means comm1? And pri2 means comm2? And sometimes the brief has pri3 or Aux too. But the f18 only has 2 radios - or so I thought. So where should I expect to find the pri3 frequencies? I found other mentions here that pri1 is comm1 and comm2 is aux, so in that case what is pri2? If pri1 is comm1 why not just say comm1? I've tried googling to learn, like "what does push pri 2 mean in dcs" but the search terms are too small and I just get basic radio mgmt info which I already know how to do. I guess now that I've written all that I can simplify my question to For the pri1, pri2, and pri3 or aux frequencies in the mission, how do I know if they are meant to be found on comm1 or comm2?
  3. Thanks for the tip. I got the 1,369kb file from gitlab and I'm working fine with that now. Not sure what happened. Maybe my file got corrupted and wound up being 585 in my upgrade attempt...
  4. Hello all. Thought I would just share here that after updating to the latest dcs world beta version this am, and re-setting up openxr, I could not get dcs to launch in VR mode. Replacing the openvr_api.dll file from a backup as suggested above fixed it for me too. Looks like the new file that came with the beta update is different.
  5. Hello everyone. I've been happily using VRK with a wacom intuous BT S for some weeks now. I had the 4 buttons on the tablet mapped for next/previous tab and page. But recently this no longer works unless VRK is the active window on my desktop. Meaning when I'm in DCS, then the buttons will no longer work, I have to be clicked into the VRK app for the tablet buttons to work. Anyone else have this issue? I don't know what caused this behavior change, the tablet used to control VRK regardless of which window had the desktop focus.
  6. Thank you for the reply. This makes sense. I'm able to adjust the other values in the sound module how I like them. All is working good. I have also just tried Simshaker-Winds for il-2 and that works good as well. This software is a great addition for flight sims.
  7. Hello, thank you to those that have made this cool product for sim enthusiasts to use. I'm using SimShaker for Aviators and the sound module with DCS. Everything is working good. I'm wondering if there is more info about these options on the Special Options tab. I cannot find documentation about these. Reduce engine effects is understood - I assume this is %, but does this work with the sound module or no? I don't feel much change with this setting. Is there any explanation of these 3 filter settings? What are the effects of these filters? Is there an explanation for how to use the turbulence configurator?
