I assumed that a mission could be planned and George would fly and human could fire and direct George to targets/locations. Am I dreaming? The missions I've seen don't CP/G as a possibility. Obviously, I could start a mission and jump in the front. I've given George Alt commands fine but how would I get him to fly direct to or WPs? TIA

I have several modules from DCS but never a Open Beta module. Where is the how to? I assume you download the DCS World Open Beta, then the AH-64D Open Beta, but why am I having to assume this? Why are there not specific instructions? Some are saying back up the old stable or Just add the Open Beta. Why is this "Guess the Answer" game?

I've been waiting 20+ years for this. One month? Piece of cake. Some of you, obviously, have never worked on a complex project. Patience. A boss came up one night we were working late and asked when the problem would be solved. We told him he'd be second to know, right after us.

Engineer here. Delivered development and production hardware for 40 years. Often had the discussion: Do we deliver "as is" or work out more bugs and ship later. If we shipped "as is" we shipped with an engineer (me or some other peon). Can't do that with s/w. As an aside, I worked on the development AH-64 that had the PNVS and the OTAS (Observers Target Acquisition System) at Camp A.P. Hill and Camp Hunter-Liggett. Production system had the TADS instead of OTAS. We had the fun job of gluing the mount to the helmets for tracking head movements for PNVS. Messed up one pilot's and he was pissed. Oooops. Great fun. Did get some front seat rides, though. Tried my hand at piloting. Nope. Nope. Not for me. Waiting for the release.

I am most certainly a retard, but I've been flying real single engine aircraft for 40 years. All had the pedals control the wheelbrakes and the rudder. But trying to get the P-47 set up is not working for me. The wheelbrake commands LCtrl+W and LAltL+W is b.s.. Natural for me is to make the yaw (twist handle) axis be both Logitech 3D extreme. Can someone provide some revelation for me?
