You can centre the mouse using JoyToKey. I have mapped this to a HOTAS button. You can also use other buttons to offset the centre point to aid head look for left and right consoles.

I tried to do it using Autohotkey but it is working strangely. The cursor is put at the middle of the screen but go back to the original position as soon as I move my head...As if DCS was not willing to take into account the new position ! Can you share your JoyToKey script ?

  2. Hello, I did multiple tentative but never managed to destroy the 1st target of mission 10 with one bomb. I think I'm targeting the good site, but whatever I hit the big building, the small building or the crates in the courtyard, I need to do a second run. This makes me consuming too much fuel, at the end of the mission, due to the events (I will not spoil), I ran out of fuel and was not able to land on the FARP !

Thank you. I tried both your options.lua and this is what I see (I used fake VR for I'm not eqquiped for VR).

I'll ask some help from a fellow tester equipped for VR.

This is an issue with foveat : The mask is applied on the viewport linked to eye rendering and not on the viewport linked to global rendering, That's why the mask follow eye tracking and we have a global "NVG" FoV, without capacity to look under NVG, because mask is on wrong viewport. I'll try to provide a screenshot from Varjo tool. But you can not reproduce if you don't have foveat...

    I ended up doing this:

Via JSGME, created mod packages for Varjo-Foveated & OpenXR-InstanceExtensionsWrapper.

So when I want to fly with DCS, I enable Varjo-Foveated, (and with the Toolkit disabled).  With MSFS and IL-2, I disable Varjo-Foveated, and enable OpenXR-InstanceExtensionsWrapper and the Toolkit.

Tested it out with all 3 sims, and the use cases are working great.  Gotta have that Varjo-Foveated for DCS!  But this is a good compromise for the other sims I like to fly.

I'm happy with the Aero, and once I have my VR Optician inserts, I know that's going to help a lot.

Going to do the hand me down of the Reverb G2 to my secondary rig, (9700K and the 3090FE).  Was using the Oculus Rift S on that.  I have the secondary rig for the Grandkids.... 😀

Hello, I have varjo foveated installed, and I am able to use DCS with it (as shown by the infamous NVG bug that come back with the last beta), but can also use il2 and MSFS with openXR Toolkit as it is...(I disabled DCS in OpenXR toolkit). I see how you can toggle the OpenXR-InstanceExtensionsWrapper  with JSGME, but how do you disable Varjo Foceat ? And, as it is working, without beeing disabled, does it mean you have better performance ?

  5. Hello, big thanks for this campaign. You did it well ! Very  immersive, nice usage of radio and dialogues.
All missions seems so well made, you are in a war and so you can not do what you want. So you need to contact the good frequencies to be allowed to do what you have to do.

But you put the help when needed, so you always know what to do. Plus the great briefings and kneepads...and of course the unexpected events !

One of the best campaign I bought.

I'm on mission 5 now. I nearly never finished one mission at the first time, they may be quite long, but as replays are working well now that's not an issue.

You make me learn the AV8B more and more with every mission.

    Only two points:

    • It's a bit frustrating  to not takeof with yout wingman iand have to rejoin him/her, but I imagine it is linked to your choice of using only part of the airbase ?
    • I understood your choice for JTAC, but it's too bad there is no feature to allow you to send us target by DL...Not that I do not like create waypoints, but it should have been also a feature to practice.

Thks.  Does it passes IC for MP servers?

I did not test but it should be the same than other NVG mod...as written here https://forum.dcs.world/topic/127345-taccas-nvg-mod-for-25/?do=findComment&comment=5325417 it should break the IC...Unfortunatelly my 3Dmigoto mod is no more working for the last 2 OB, otherwise I would have done have something compliant...

I don't get this using Core.  Is this using lefuneste's cockpit?  If so, I can't fix it as I don't have Apache.  Uninstall it until lefuneste or someone else fixes it.

Sorry, but I'm not able to reproduce, see the picture below...(The pink rotor is a test I'm doing to disable them by using DCS shader modification..)

That said, with the DFR I don't find myself below 90 nearly as often, anyway.

It depend of what you are playing, but there are some campaign needed a lot of CPU, so I have a lot of cases where I'm not able to maintain 90 fps with my Reverb. I even meet situation where fps went below 30 fps...
And I do not want to lower distance view, landscape detail or other option having CPU impact. Some modules are also fps eater...

I did not have the time to fly a lot wiht the Varjo for the moment, but as the reproj is so good I wonder if finally it should be better to lock fps at 45 in order to avoid the small stutter you have when reprojection start or stop (as advised by others Varjo DCS player)...

  9. Hello, I got mine yesterday, installed it and did some quick testings. Same reports as the other, but I didn't understood how the reprojection is good, compared to the one of the Reverb...I'm really in love with it, even if I did only very quick flights. I still need to re activate VRneckSafer and OpenKneeboard to be at my target configuration.

  10. Hello, I'm really happy with my DIY version of Rhino. It works well in DCS, IL2 and MSF2020 (even if I did not try it yet), using the "telemFFB" tool provided for free. This tool provide some addtitional fancy effects in DCS (eg : vibration when firing...).

Especially with Helicopter for the force trim, this is a must have.

But I understood the delay to get a Rhino "on the shelves" are very very very long.

The only negative feedback I read was a guy who wanted more force than the current version. It's possible with the DIY kit, but motor will be quite huge and personaly I do not feel the need.

    Hi,

I finally released a new version integrating mapping for Viper TQS and Panel corrected and debugged (despite nobody for testing). The whole script set evolved and the DX assignation changed, but the good news is that mapping chart are updated.

Without geting to far into details, the DX numbers assignation is now partially dynamic but on detected/mapped device basis, meaning that if you keep the same base device configuration, nothing will change and you can refere to the new mapping chart to help you.

    Changelog for this version:

    • New mapping system with per device dynamic DX assignation
    • Viper TQS and Viper Panel mapping implementation
    • Updated mapping charts

Link for download in the first post of this thread here

Thanks you for your great job !

Yes I double checked and my settings are as said in the installation instructions. I also do not have any other graphics mods installed, only aircraft and some liveries and SRS if that counts. Edit: this "white" effect only seems to happen in the apache just to be clear, the persistent image of the cockpit lingering behind the main menu happens with any aircraft after exiting a mission, but is much less visible compared to the bright white apache textures.

I did not fly the Apache for a while, I'll try a quick mission. Can you put your d3dx_user.ini file (that should be in the folder where the mod is installed) here ?

also when I exit the mission the image of this cockpit persists behind the main menu splash screen, like it's burned in. I use the pimax crystal headset with dynamic foveated rendering on and the image on the main menu follows where my eyes are looking, it's pretty wild.

Did you check your graphic options are compliant with the mod ? (see first post).
