Peru’s fleet history is pretty crazy. They had S aircraft with R77 in the mid 90s and had SM aircraft very shortly after.

The story per Yefim Gordon. (1st image)
The story per Yakubovich. (2nd image)

We need to know the features of real missiles. Especially their effectiveness.
Have you ever wondered why no one else in the world makes such missiles?

No, I have not. I am only interested in weapons that exist/existed.

The fact is that anti-radar missiles are designed for stationary or slow-moving targets. And even so, their effectiveness in reality is one of the lowest among tactical missiles.
An airborne radar moves at high speed in three-dimensional space. The radar pattern also moves constantly in hi values. I assume that such missiles will have a VERY low kill probability and only against non-maneuvering targets.
But we don't have any information about this.

Ranges and flight profiles are the same as with the R-27 family.
Regarding tracking a target moving in three dimensional space, logic stipulates that you use the same code you have (in DCS already) for the HOJ feature of the R-27R/ER.

We don't plan yet. We don't have enough data to model this missile's guidance system and performance.

It homes in on radars working in STT modes like Kh-31P does in the game for ground radars, as well as it homes in on ECMs like R-27ER does in the game.
The only thing to add it to make it home in on radars that work in TWS modes.
But I am sure your Subject Matter Experts know more than me on this.

This paper message means little. The adoption of RVV-AE missile need for promoting an export contracts, because selling a missile that is not in service with the developer’s country seemed strange.
However, the missile never appeared in service with the Russian Air Force.

    The above message means little.
    Any proof to that?

We have no debts to red side. Moreover, 20 years ago we did a favor for the red side by introducing the R-77 missile, which was not in service of Russian Air Force till 2015.

    Officially adopted February 1994

At this point I really hope that ED will go down the path of their Marianas map and release a second 1980s version of the Afghanistan map. Having the fully-built 2000s US and coalition airbases in the current Afghanistan map is not a good basis for authentic 1980s era Soviet scenarios (which I personally currently find more interesting than the WOGT scenario).

I could not agree with you more.
If we are aiming for a proper simulation, we need to be able use the 80s Afghan infrastructure and NOT the late 2000s NATO made one.

P.S. This is how Bagram looked like in the Soviet conflict.
