The nVidia Triple Buffering settings is ONLY for OpenGL; this need to stop being reported as a solution.
You can probably force it on in DCS world running Exclusive Fullscreen using the old D3DOverrider
I wonder if it's possible to add support for the new Simultaneous Multi-Projection independently of any extra baggage, multi monitor bliss. Would a targeting pod camera be considered a viewport (edit: in the SMP sense)?
