  2. I've replayed this mission multiple times, and I'm trying to figure out if there's a bug with DCS, or its's likely just me. Since I've played through before, I set up the MK20 for CCIP with the EFUZ to instant. At that point the standard CCIP fall line appears. However, once I input 9-line coords, the system will NEVER GO BACK TO CCIP. It wants to drop in AUTO, and no matter how many times I try to reset the system, the CCIP fall line will not come back. dropping the MK20 in auto always seems to fall long, since it's a dumb bomb. What am I doing wrong, or is this a DCS bug??
  3. I second this. While circling waypoint 5 while waiting for SEAD, pontiac flight peels off and returns to the carrier. All pylons still have munitions on them. I did attack once, and weapons did destroy the correct targets, but Matrix never engaged. Must be the new bug out AI feature ED implemented.
  4. I'm having an issue with the goggles. This happens in every aircraft that nvg's are available. When activated, the line of sight through the goggles is roughly 30 degrees to the left of center. this happens no matter which eye is set for default in the special menu. happens across all maps, sp, mp, etc. I have exported mfd's to a separate monitor if that could be the culprit?
  5. I completed the mission, but not the campaign. I'm actually getting ready to fly mission 5 as we speak!
  6. I just finished flying this mission. I changed my loadout a bit for this mission. I found that the longer you loiter over the dam, the closer the mobile units get (sams). I cleared the objectives by hitting the aaa first. One long run in with 3 mav's for the aaa. Then switched to laser guided rockets and took out the rest of the armor. I followed on the now undefended scuds with a gun run. This is where i changed up my loadout. I swapped the laser guided bombs for gbu's (gps). At this point. it's ccrp at an altitude above which they can reach you to the bridges, pickle, and the bridges are toast. fly home and drink a cold one!
  7. I am running open beta. MT clouds look terrible right now. Lol Don't use ACLS? I was under the impression the mission was designed to use it based upon the poor weather conditions. As far as acft weight is concerned, I have been dumping fuel on the descent from 30k ft msl when told to rtb to Truman. I'm aware that 5 aim120's and a couple aim9's aren't light, so I'm at roughly 3k lbs fuel at commenensing. Also, no mods installed. I've used another mission with pretty much no weather and it seems to work ok. Not saying there's an issue with your mission at all, just wondering if it's the high winds causing the issue.   8. Hello! I'm having troubles with the acls case III landing. I'll give a rundown to lessen the need for questions. 300 kts at 6,000 ft on course 316 calling established. Get data from mother on acls screen. at 21 dme, calling commencing. once again getting data from mother and checking in. while passing through 5,000 ft at 4,000 fpm decent rate at 250 kts, calling platform and reducing decent rate to 2,000 fpm (as the new data on the acls screen instructs me to). at 10 miles, go into landing configuration (hook, gear, flaps, on speed). at 6 miles, after calling needles, engage apt cpl to get a pitch and roll cpl, as well as atc. the acft flies itself to the deck..... but bolters every time! Is this built into the mission or i am doing something wrong? seriously frustrating. seems as if the jet is staying in ground effect due to the heavy winds and overshooting the wires?

  11. Hello! I recently got a new phone and didn't know I had to port Google authentication to the new one, now I'm locked out of my account. How can I rectify this? I was able to get into the forums, but not dcs proper. Thanks in advance!
  12. I'm having an interior lighting issue as well. If I do an "instant action" to a dark environment, all interior and exterior lights work as they should. If I do a cold start, the engine and flight instruments do not light up anywhere and the dials have no effect whatsoever. The rest of the lighting (both interior and exterior) works. Any ideas if this is a known issue?
