Sure, spotting planes or ground targets is hard. In RL and in HiRes VR. But imagine a flight of four coming your way. In my G2 I don't see a dot but a big black square incoming.... How immersive is that. OR this I'm heading to bomb a camp, hidden in a forest area. I can see it from 7 miles without the need of TGP How about this solution: Give us three options: OFF, MANUAL and AUTO. Auto would be ED's tinkering with spotting dots and manual something like a slider or a value (size and/or range) so everyone could adjust to their likening. And server side enforcement of that option would be a good one. Or even a Must have. With this I believe that every user would be happy. From hardcore simmers to gamers who just want to shoot stuff. It's a good tool. Too bad if it were the end of it. I thought it was some mod that breaks it, like SU30 as I had issues with it previously but it was disabled and had no change to DCS or builder prior to update
