  1. Take look here. Maybe that helps
  2. Good call, but no success. Switching off HAGS did it for me. Thanks everyone for your help. Have a great weekend!
  3. Hey all, so, I've used my Vive Index for playing DCS in VR for quite some time now. Tinkering a bit with the settings, I found my sweet spot a long time ago and was very happy with it. No special shader stuff, no mods... just vanilla DCS with VR. Then due to time issues, I kinda dropped out of DCS for a couple of months. Two things changed during my DCS hiatus: I updated to Win11 I got myself a new 1440p monitor (scaling down from 4k to enjoy the higher refresh rate and an overall better pannel) Here's the issue... I now have awfull stuttering in VR. No matter what settings. I scale it down to a minimum (res and detail)... stuttering. I scale it up to max... stuttering (no surprise here). BUT... by the moment I unfocus the window on my machine ("Window out of focus") all is butter-smooth in my VR headset. Once I re-focus, the stuttering starts again. Playing without VR is smooth as always. What am I missing here? Is it a refresh-rate issue with my monitor? Or running HDR on my monitor? Tried to change refresh-rate and HDR, but to no avail. My specs: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 32GB DDR4 2666 ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING WIFI II NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Valve Index (it's not super-beefy, but should be good enough to run the damn thing in VR, as it was 3 months ago) Any suggestions? I'm out of ideas...
  4. That works for me! Thanks for pointing out. But, wow, what a convoluted tool that is!
  5. Hi people! New user here. So, I'm playing DCS in VR and non-VR in parallel. I understand you can start DCS with parameters like G:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\DCS.exe" --force_enable_VR to, well... enforce VR mode. This is how I do it and it works like a charm. But obviously, playing without VR enables you to ramp up graphic settings. Right now you can just use the presets in the graphic settings and you can even store custom presets. That's neat. Still it requires you to restart DCS to enable the settings. Here's my question. Is there a way to start DCS with some kind of indiviual settings that are applied on start-up? Like: startup-script 1 -> Starting DCS with dumbed down VR-settings startup-script 2 -> Starting DCS with full blown high-quality gfx settings Maybe launching some kind lua-file with the settings, attached to the DCS.exe?
