  1. I do not think so, from experience in Pimax 8kx with 160deg horizontal. As you do not see outside of HMD sweet spots, it is hard to just turn your head enough. Except with swivel chair, and maybe hand rudder (no pedals) - if that suits you.
  2. Thx sharpex, that helped me too. 14600kf, and many bsod and restarts since I bought new pc ...
  3. Hi guys, I do not have any more crashes. After all these steps from this tread, my system was still lacking stability. But several months later I got new drivers for almost everything, and new bios/uefi - finally my pc works and I can play DCS in VR all the time. Please close this thread as resolved, and thanks to everybody helping me Ps: later I found out all that was Intels fault; my cpu is 14600kf, one of Intels with "wrong" factory settings. I had about 50-100 BSODs and forced restarts.... I can only hope nothing else was damaged because of this.
  4. Crystal light does not have eyetracking, sorry. With eyetracking you can probbably manage some good setings, maybe to set crystal in 120Hz mode, and limit fps to 60 (I use that, it is great). I play IL-2 a lot, without foveated rendering (it is not supported), with resolution 3320x3850 (80-90 fps, nvidia 3090). Maybe you can compare with that. PS: I have no idea how flat screen looks, I play only vr last 7-8 years
  5. Crystal with quad views turned on is crazy good - with 3090 I have 110% supersampling where I look, and 15% supersampling around. (100% is about 4000*5100) With 4090 people are using ss 150%, and that is easy with quad views ( better option for dynamic foveated rendering). You can try quad views with your quest pro also. I never tried Quest pro...
  6. Flappie, I wanted to do all those things, but I was playing DCS without problems last 2-3 days. If crashes happen again, I will carry this on, if not - I will just leave all as it is. Thankx anyway!
  7. Here it is! mylist.txt
  8. Again crashes, 4 logs now. dcsd.zip
  9. A few new crashes.. I have 2 logs: dcs2.zip
  10. Hi Horn, reacently I installed Oculus software again on my new PC, as I have some games on their store. But for DCS I use PimaxXR, OpenXR_Toolkit - that is pure OpenXR. I had one more crash, and ca 10 sorties without problems. dcs5.log
  11. Two days without crash! Now it crashed again, after opening mirrors in sp mission. I took back my mods (FC3 cockpit clickable, + 2 helis..). Two days with them, I belive must be something else. (I write this now just to report log, if crash is something else now) dcs4.log
  12. I played some more sorties without crash (hurrey!). Also I did one last change lately; I set preload radius to minimum (game settings, as I use super fast disk).
  13. It stil crashes, but random, I can play some long sorties, it is much better now. but it crashes....
  14. Afer latest nvidia update I had different problems, at one occasion I got windows error mesage that access to GPU was forbidden for DCS... It happened midflight, and game was frozen. After several restarts, erasing nvidia cache (thx @Nuggetz), and suddently I was able to fly. I tried my test map, which breakes game in seconds; Marrianas, free flight with MIG29s. It was working. Then I tried other maps, was ok. I tried MP server, and it worked. At least 10 sorties/maps, everything was ok. Until it broke again, random. I will fly more in a next days, but I already had cases when I tune something, game was working several sorties, and then crashing start again. I hope it will be ok, I already went on game page to choose which plane to buy next, just before that latest crash....
  15. 128GB virtual memory - 3 flights were OK, and then again crash.... New nvidia driver today, still crashing... PS: my pimax crystal works with 120Hz mode - If I limit game to 60 fps then I have less crashing; with 90 or 120 fps I have more crashing.
