I believe the correct command line was ./DCS_Updater.exe update '@openbeta' , subtle difference but yeah its updating now

Is there an easy way to transfer to the open beta or does it require a fresh install. I tried right clicking the bin folder, opening powershell and typing in .\DCS_updater.exe update @openbeta but that didnt work as described in an official FAQ post.

yes thats what I initially thought. Yeah i use stable, when is 2.9 due for the stable version?

Want to update to 2.9 but updater says newest version 2.8.7 is installed when checking
