  1. As of March 13th, 2025 I believe this is still a valid bug. While playing Operation Green Line Mission 7, I seem to have also encountered this bug ordinance drops short of the target. Based on https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/changelog/release/2.9.6.57650/ it was supposedly fixed but I am definitely still seeing an issue.
  2. With the last update I encountered the same issue. It turns out my AV was flagging the supercarrier DLL file which was causing problems. * if you have an AV client installed try disabling it and rerunning DCS. * if that is not the issue double check the super carrier DLL in your games folder and make sure it is not corrupted.
  3. Do you know is there is a way to enable debug logging? Perhaps if I can reproduce consistently if there are such logs that may help?
  4. This may or may not be a bug in the campaign or with core DCS code. In mission 13 while heading to waypoint 2 with `Sting` when Strike advises them to "break for IP", `Strike` remains in formation and does not break. I have played this mission a few times and I have only been successful once during this step. Is this a mission bug or a possible core DCS bug? Information: DCS: DCS 2.9.5.55300 (Multi-thread) Mods: None Note: In the one successful attempt running DCS 2.9.5.55300 (Multi-thread) the lasing beam is visible. I know there is another topic that identifies an issue with MT and the laser beam. Just adding it as a note here although orthogonal to the issue I am having. Attached is a link to a video showing the bug:
  5. I believe you can also dump fuel in this case? As far as AAR I played this mission just a few days ago and did not see any issue connecting to the tanker on the starboard side. As far as case 1 goes, overall, you need to be correct on your weights speed and angle when landing on the carrier. Not sure if that is a DCS bug or that is more realistic since the last uipdate but overall if I keep my landing weight correct and follow the case 1 procedures, I land without any damage to the landing gear.
  6. Hello @Badger633 Correct no modifications. Thank you for taking a look at this issue and the subsequent fixes looking forward to seeing them. Thanks again!
  7. Running Mission 5 from DCS DCS 2.9.3.51704 I have encountered the following bugs: On start up the lone disabled hornet approaching from the North should explode but instead remains in flight. The voice dialog indicates something else so I believe this is the first bug. Second bug is my wingman 420 launches but then disappears (refer to attached Tacview Track) Third bug engaging Fulcrum's I splash the first 2 but the 3rd entered a circular orbit far away from the engagement window (refer to attached Tacview Track) Tacview-20240317-081244-DCS-ROPL2 M5 TABLES TURNED.zip.acmi
  8. Confirmed this is completely fixed as of the Feb 22, 2024 update DCS 2.9.3.51704
  9. No worries hopefully the feedback helps. Let me know if you need anything else. Makes sense based on your reply what the issue is. Enjoying this campaign so far thanks again for all of your help.
  10. There are no mods installed. Since the DCS update 2.9.2.49629 I have tried a handful of times and all encounter this issue. My test/setup configuration is below: Case 1: DCS 2.9.2.49629 Open Beta (single thread) Case 2: DCS 2.9.2.49629 Open Beta (MT thread preview) In both cases I have seen this issue. In my original post on this thread I did not encounter this on DCS 2.9.1.48335 Open Beta. I have attached a TACView track file as well as a link to YouTube that demonstrates the event ordering referred to above. Thanks again for looking at this let me know if I can help with anything. . 11. I see under the latest open beta update DCS 2.9.2.49629 you committed the fix for this issue: DCS: F/A-18C Rise of the Persian Lion II Campaign by Badger633 Mission 1: Correct boat name / fix vehicle tracks airport. Mission 3: Bog hammer attack fixed. Safety added to Bog hammers. However I think there is now another bug with DCS 2.9.2.49629 and Mission 3. The bug is as follows: Let me know if I should start a new thread or stick to this one. * Between Dodge wrapping up their ship check and the distress call, a call is made to engage enemy bandits. I would expect this calll (event) much later after strike has notified me of possible air assets. * The result is we engage the bandits but my Wingman never does. I kill off the right most bandits and the left most bandits remain. I think the event ordering may be causing this. I have attached a screenshot of the communications that show the out of order events:
  12. Looking forward to it! Thanks again!
  13. I am running open beta, sorry I should have stated that originally. I am not running any mods. Thank you for the update, looks like it may be an Ai limitation/bug. Thank you for looking into this. I have played Rise of the Persian Lion I and now II and really enjoy the campaign(s).
  14. Overview: DCS: 2.9.1.48335 Not sure if this is a bug or I am not doing something properly to trigger the event. During mission 3 Dodge group will break off to engage boghammers attacking a ship. In the meantime my flight group Roman will engage 4 F5 bandits. My wingman and I have dispatched the 4 F5 bandits and we are instructed to head toward Dodge group again to provide high level cover. As we head over you can hear comm chatter from Dodge .. "guns guns" etc. The mission seems to end here we approach Dodge and wind up circling endlessly all along Dodge is continuously calling out "guns guns". To ensure this was not a timing issue I stayed on station circling at 20k feet for roughly 15mins and at no time did Dodge complete the task of destroying the boghammers I can visually still see all of the boghammers. Is this a bug? One item in the mission brief states "Use the radar and enter bulls to locate aircraft" perhaps I am not setting something up. Are there any known instructions for this? Or is simply stating fly to the bullseye?
  15. I am aware of the existing bug / limitation with respect to the replay functionality in DCS. Is there an alternative that anyone is aware of? A cursory look at the forums has TacView being mentioned but that option is not something that can be used if making cinematics. Is there something else? The main reasons for me using replay is: 1. Review and learn (because I am a horrible pilot) 2. Cinematics (when I do something well and want to share) There may not be anything and that is ok, but wanted to ask just in case there was something I missed in researching.
