  1. Just a bump here...it does stick with you for the rest of the time the game is running. I know I really shouldn't be landing an F16 on the supercarrier, but from that point on (regardless of aircraft) that phrase is stuck in the middle of the screen. It's cosmetic but worth considering to fix down the road...
  2. I will give that a shot...I had to do a 2nd re-install of windows as my key didn't match the installed version. This time through it seems like 90% of the default mappings are there, but I'm still figuring it out. It would be nice for DCS to have a cleaner interface for mappings/imports/skins/missons...perhaps map to the forums here (embedded inside DCS).
  3. Hey, I had to rebuild my computer and hence a full reinstall of DCS...when I got it all done, there were no mappings for the F-16 which I thought were default. Is there a way to trigger them to show back up? This is the latest Beta code, Warthog HOTAS combo, and have been playing for about 2 years before this point. It's gotta be something easy, right?
  4. Not sure if this is the right forum, but I was looking for that F-16 preview video on Youtube and it's no longer there....Any chance it's a mistake or did it get pulled off? That one was some good stuff!
  5. I've looked all over and I can't find a description on the EWR and how it works when I deploy it in multiplayer via CTLD. From what I can find it's just like having another AWACS, but does it enhance the SAM systems that are near it? The use case would be a pvp server where I can take my huey and drop a SAM site (SA6) near Maykop and by adding an EWR the systems become more accurate. Anyway, any thoughts?
  6. One thing I would love to see is a redundant DCS core server located in the US (in addition to the swiss one). If we can't access that IP in Zurich, we can't access DCS and it's pretty much game over as the game shuts down. Currently there is a path issue with ATT and we've been down for two weeks, so we've moved on to other things (I got the tracert's if you want them). VPN does solve the problem, but having a single server is a single point of failure too. I'm not sure how much it costs, but it's an idea to consider...
