TM warthog throttle with one dark backlight LED
juankeiko replied to RedX's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Hello everyone. I have mine and I have not had any problems. Several colleagues advised me that before anything upgrade the firmware of Thrustmaster HOTAS warthog. I have done as I recommended here in the forum and thanks to them everything works great. You updated the firmware from the official website? perhaps the lack of light in the LED may be due to that. In any case if it is not, send it back as it is under warranty. Greetings and good flights. -
well man, that's all. We must looking in another places.

DCS-A10C Warthog-Real Altimeter from a Phantom F4
juankeiko replied to juankeiko's topic in Home Cockpits
Hi again Deadman. Now I'm in England for my work , but I live in Spain(there i am sending all my material for the cockpit), even here i am building something, like the cockpit chair . It is very rare or almost impossible to get parts of the A10 outside the U.S.. A10 parts or instruments that you have, you will go to sell or you have plans to build a real cockpit? If you want send me a PM and we can talk. Also if you want I can send you my email for PM. Thanks for your help. Good Flights:pilotfly::thumbup: -

DCS-A10C Warthog-Real Altimeter from a Phantom F4
juankeiko replied to juankeiko's topic in Home Cockpits
Thanks to you as well Deadman Thanks Deadman. Have differences, of course, but you know we try to make the cockpit as close to reality, and here in Europe is not as easy to find and in the U.S. aircraft instrumentation. -
DCS-A10C Warthog-Real Altimeter from a Phantom F4
juankeiko replied to juankeiko's topic in Home Cockpits
Thanks It is complex, but I appreciate all the information. Anyway, as I will contact you to ask me something or tell you that I can apply documentation to learn more about it. In fact I bought this altimeter in England on eBay, and I've been very lucky. -
Thanks for the info I imagined I could be anything against the law and legality. Thanks for the information KlaFaille

They also sell military instruments I have been in contact with them and if they have military instruments. If you want Deadman you can do the same and so you check it.:pilotfly::thumbup: Ah, i forgot it, you have to send them the reference number of the instrument you want.

I found these two interesting web pages. They are selling instruments for aircraft cockpits and several components. These instruments are extracted from planes are to be scrapped. I looked more websites of USA who also sell these instruments to cockpits, but not sent outside the U.S.. I imagine it will be for security or patents. It's something I'm not sure. Anyway, if anyone is interested you can contact via email from the web or by phone. DCS-A10C Warthog-Real Altimeter from a Phantom F4
juankeiko replied to juankeiko's topic in Home Cockpits
I found in ebay I found it on ebay. I've been watching a lot of instruments. Most of them are in U.S.A. Good prices for sure. I got mine at 36 pounds. I've been very lucky and luckier still to know that it works in perfect condition. Now as I said before,I have to consider how to connect to the simulator and break my head testing it.:pilotfly::thumbup: A greeting and good flight. -
After having left a message, within minutes I received a Phantom F4 altimeter used for the DCS A10-C homecockpit. Fortunately Altimeter works in perfect condition. What will be the problem? It connects to the simulator and break my head thinking and reading about connection, etc. So if anyone knows about this more than I, please, give me a hand. Greetings to all and good flight:pilotfly::thumbup:

Hi Luckyluca. I can tell you I have two 7-inch Mimo USB and are tactile. I have not tested digital frame, but if I saw a youtube video of someone if he has done. Anyway my recommendation is a USB touch screen, you can always use it if you change your mind for use in another things, like UFC,etc. Good FLights ;)

Hello everyone again. Looking ebay.co.uk. Is in England. I found this. If this happens a couple of weeks before my joystick would probably have bought here. I have my Thrustmaster I warthog but if anyone is interested, and besides everyone likes this new joystick here's your chance. Again, this is a particular, not mine. for all the world I would not lose my joystick I hope I have helped. Good flight. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Thrustmaster-Warthog-HOTAS-DCS-A10-C-Experience-/290582862727?pt=UK_Computing_ComputerComponents_JoysticksJoypadsGamepads&hash=item43a8169b87

Thank you all for your advice. It is very certain that I will do everything very carefully and making sure that everything runs smoothly. Some of you have commented about the yellow stickers. They are simply to indicate the correct position to attach the joystick to the base. Can be removed without problem. I'm sure that i will have a lot of fun with the THW. The problem is that I have air traffic control at home, my wife, and when he shoots, she always brings down the plane. hehehheheh ;) Greetings to all. Good flights.
