Still no luck. I have to format I cannot find the save files its backing up from, I searched everything. Now sale is ended, gonna be a long 6 months or year before next sale wanted to actually purchase some new modules for once.

Oddly uninstalling in steam doesn't delete anything in steamapps, deleting everything manually also did not fix anything and still have old copy after deleting every save from every location known. As said, formatting is the ultimate fix but it's reoccurring I cannot keep rewriting drives on my m.2 they are not unlimited.

To solve input binding problems, need full clean install how to, request to make, or guide. What do I mean? When reinstalling steam open beta it does not perform a complete clean install; I can tell as it it reinstalls mods like SRS radio all inputs are back, name and login are saved. All these saved files are deleted in C:/Users/ and Steamapps, no idea where they are coming from and how. See related thread:

After a certain update and in the last year, which i haven't been able to play since last summer!!!! i've had a problem with my x56 switch toggle causing my corsair K63 to become nonfunctional in game. This is BEFORE my mini joystick was going haywire; I was able to play DCS, MSFS without problems at first with switch S1 S2 S3 for Combat, Nav; Take off and landing; This toggle switch then starting causing the keyboard unresponsive; always was binded previous to update; short time after sparks where added to F18 cannon Then the joystick mini stick went haywire which could of been the problem; Could not play anything with it spinning; Mini stick stopped spinning; hasn't came back, physical rubber band? ; Could play MSFS and any game with joystick and switch toggle; DCS only had problem with toggle switch with causes the keyboard unresponsive rendering unplayable; Can reset default keyboard in DCS and play again; no problems until i press switch on throttle; This has been months trying to find the problem; I've tried to reformat my entire windows 11, tried reinstalling; Seems to help; I cannot keep formatting however Starts when I press toggle switch everytime. I can then reset keyboard settings in DCS to default and be able to play until pressing toggle switch on X56 thruster. Keyboard bindings won't save shows "file already exists" checked Switches are not recognized by pressing BTN 34, 35, 36 Cannot find a way to do a clean install, formating seemed to fix issue but why? I CAN STILL SEE SRS AND BACK UP BINDS everytime I install do not want to see anything fresh copy no saves yet and problem persists Setup -> STEAM OPEN BETA win11 -> Logitech x56, HOTAS, Logitech rudders, Sabrent USB hub. I think this happened before and had to buy a new HOTAS but after a year it returns.. causing me to forget the reason now. Main reason I stopped playing DCS, it keeps becoming unplayable always something wrong, since 2013. They only sell logitech around here in Canada. Could gamble thrustmaster $1000 hotas would fix it but nah. Rig -> 3060 Ti 8gb, 32gb DDR4 3200, intel i2400f, msi mag mortar b660m 1700, fractal meshify c, 2 x M.2 2gb WD black drives 5 to 7 gbs, SSDs 500mbs, System managed Virtual ram, oculus Quest 2, TrackIR w clip, Nova pro, JBL 810, razer ultimate viper, corsiar k63 + lapdog, HOTAS attached to large Serta large and tall chair with VESA mounts. After researching i've came to some possible conclusions. 1. My x56 mini joystick on side of stick is haywire it shows nothing wrong in joycpl but in games it rotates around in circles by getting stuck inside, not sure how to disable it causing issue; 2. If i leave HOTAS on windows does not lock and go to sleep, ghost input cannot be seen in any program; 3. Ghost input is the actual problem causing the keyboard to become unusable after pressing toggle mode switch for multiple setups; 4. Replace X56 with much better joystick, although just bought for $350; 5. Something wrong with toggle switches in DCS, other then windows not being able to sleep no problems in other sims.
