I've recently noticed that trimming aircraft doesn't always tend to work. Yes I am aware that in aircraft such as the FA/18 that you can only trim with gear down.
At first I believed that dcs just wasn't picking up my inputs, but when I checked the controls menu, apparently they were being picked up just fine. I then decide to hop in the KA50 and use the trimmer button. I noticed the line would move and my input would be detected but still no actual trimming of the flight controls.
Edit: There have been a couple times where trimming had worked but not consistently.
