  2. LeCuvier: not patronizing at all cause your right if it worked for you, its got to work for me. I will try again, this issue is I didn't " copy and paste I re typed the code
  3. Scoobie: here's some info from your post to change the "config" any change in the value 1.0 renders the throttles inoperable, I have altered config file before and understand the importance to get all entries exact :periods commas ext. I know I'm in right right ares because as soon as I put the value back to 1.0 they work again. I have tried 0.1. 0.5. and even 0.9. only 1.0 works Seems kinda strange ?? Denis
  4. exactly what I was looking for really appreciate this Denis
  5. thanks guys that's what I was looking for Denis
  6. Heres an easy one (I think). now that I have the Mosquito down well enough, I went looking for multiplayer servers, certainly not finding much and really not interested ib mixing it with Jets ! I found one normandy : Kadin dedicated Server. where the map appears to be bugged and wouldn't work :vPoAF-World War II. that requires a password Any mosquito flyers out there know of any others: I understand "storm of War shut down !! Denis
  7. Terry interesting idea, I will investigate all that. I have use "voice command programs before as agin they help the fact I only have 1 hand to use, the only issue I kept having was conversing on like "team Speak" in the middle of a sentence my gear would go down or my guns would fie I'll check out voice attack. as I really would like to fly this aircraft, IL 2 mosquito is nice, but no where near DCS Denis
  8. ok Gang here's a weird one. Due to a stroke I can only use my right arm/hand, which eliminate using a separate throttle quadrant. In all other sims I assign a "hat switch" for "up throttle/Down throttle, which has always worked just fine. Now the mosquito. Well one click of the hat switch and I have 1/3 throttle another click 2/3rds. Pretty hard for take off or landing: any one know a way to slow this down, Like maybe in the "config file (I have slowed the zoom rate this way) I am using a thrustmaster Warthog. any ideas Denis
  9. OK just to add closure to this topic!!! I was never able to rectify this problem, tried all the suggestions: SO !!! I installed a fresh windows 10. after clearing all my hard drives and even upgraded to windows 11. re downloaded DCS and all is back to normal: now back to creating all my controls and assignment, but first a BEER run !!!!!! Denis
  10. new to DCS, got it for the Mosquito, day 2 of assigning keys and I did something to change the default cockpit view (F-1_ to looking straight up. haven't been able to change this. posted this problem originally here: I have even deleted all Steam "user" files deleted steam, re downloaded steam and DCS. and still have "straight up default view. So hoping someone "Here" might have a fix ? Theres always an answer for everything computer !! Denis
  11. Funny: as I have the "Steam" version, these "repair" articles don't appear to apply. now I have repaired through steam no change I deleted the whole DCS re downloaded. no change I even deleted and re downloaded into a different drive still no change, the default cockpit is straight up. no change. ?? are there some config files that don't delete when you delete through steam. or I have even deleted through " control panel " still the same Denis
  12. Null. I was certain you were right as I went through all the RAlt+numbers to observe the views, I have deleted the SnapViews.Lua. but still no change Hummmmm Denis
