  1. Here are some photos of the Thrustmaster F/A-18 Hornet Grip. I still have the original padded box.
  2. I took some photos of the Monstertech Joystick Desk mount - Long Version (attached to a Virpil VPC MongoosT-50CM2 Base, which is already sold), and the separate Virpil Mount Adapter.
  3. Hi, I've decided to sell a few items from my desk-cockpit that I no longer need after some upgrades. All items are all in good condition with relatively little use (I can provide photos on request). Thrustmaster F/A-18 Hornet Grip = 142 EUR Virpil VPC Desk Mount V4 L = 50 EUR Virpil Mount Adapter for MongoosT-50CM2 Base = 20 EUR Virpil Mount Adapter for MongoosT-50CM3 Base = 20 EUR Monstertech Joystick Desk Mount Black (Long Version) = 75 EUR Monstertech Adapter for Virpil VPC MongoosT-50CM2 Base = 25 EUR Sold: Virpil VPC MongoosT-50CM2 Base + all cams = 175 EUR Each item can be purchased separately. Or the whole set for 310 EUR + shipping from Germany via DHL preferably within the EU, but UK + Northern Ireland should also be possible If interested, please send me a PM. Many Thanks Patrick (aka AirTrainPat) PS: I'm separately selling an Oculus Rift CV1 with 2Touch Controllers and 2 sensors for 100 EUR + shipping, (in the 2 original boxes in case anyone is interested in that kind of thing)
  4. FYI: They are back in stock.
  5. Thanks for doing that! I was always wondering about this. I guess next time, they have the grips on stock again, I might get lucky (and poor).
  6. @VpR81 How do you deal with the missing paddle switch on the Realsimulator F18 CGRH? I was contemplating getting the same stick (in the brief time window when it was available), but the lack of a paddle switch gave me second thoughts. They now offer the F/A-18 Stick Adapter which has a paddle switch, but that would be yet another 280+€ investment

Yes I use the Orion 2 throttle, Virpil CM2 + TM F/A-18 grip. I'm still jealous, though, of everyone who owns the Super Taurus base and the MFDs (and basically all the Winwing stuff for the Hornet). But that's not always WAG compatible
  8. Thanks. So it seems that the differences are not really worth shelling out the money for a whole new Orion 2 throttle unit, when I am basically happy with the old one. However I must admit, flying in VR, I constantly have to make sure to flick the right switch. I accidentally deployed the landing gear more than once. I don't think I'd go for the 3d printed slip-on switches, though. Either I just deal with it or I will try to replace one or two old switches with more accurate ones when I'm feeling adventurous. And who knows? Maybe pointctrl will be such a game changer for me that I won't be using physical switches ever again? But that's probably another year away, since I've ordered it in February. Anyway, as much as I am tempted for the 10th anniversary limited edition, I think I will spend my money on something else. Maybe the F-16 throttle handle I keep on eyeing for some time
  9. Hi guys, I was just checking the Winwing store, and it looks like they have a new version of the Orion2 Throttle available for pre-order: https://wwsimstore.com/view/goods-details.html?id=466 as far as I could tell, the main differences between the 10th Anniversary version and the standard Orion2 Throttle Base are new airplane replica toggle switches and knobs. The thing about the standard Orion2 throttle base that really bugs me is, that I have problems finding the correct toggle switches in VR. So this is an interesting upgrade. However, as I already bought it already last year, I wonder if it's possible to replace the knobs and toggles on the old version - instead of having to buy the 10th Anniversary version. Does anyone have any experience with that?
