Thanks. So it seems that the differences are not really worth shelling out the money for a whole new Orion 2 throttle unit, when I am basically happy with the old one. However I must admit, flying in VR, I constantly have to make sure to flick the right switch. I accidentally deployed the landing gear more than once.
I don't think I'd go for the 3d printed slip-on switches, though. Either I just deal with it or I will try to replace one or two old switches with more accurate ones when I'm feeling adventurous.
And who knows? Maybe pointctrl will be such a game changer for me that I won't be using physical switches ever again? But that's probably another year away, since I've ordered it in February.
Anyway, as much as I am tempted for the 10th anniversary limited edition, I think I will spend my money on something else. Maybe the F-16 throttle handle I keep on eyeing for some time
