Hello,
I have recenter VR headset bound in the options, it worked yesterday, today it no longer does anything.
All other binds seem to work (eg VR zoom), I tried binding it to new keyboard keys, to buttons on stick: nothing makes it recenter. I am not aware of changing anything since it last worked.
Have I maybe saved a custom view that is overwriting it or something? Where are they saved?
Please help!
I say again: it IS bound in the control menu.

Can mod mark this as solved please, a full reinstall seems to have fixed the problem (simshaker and mods back on, still not crashing)

Has to be the dstr (Windows Distributed) files.
They can be found here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2977003
They are also on your HDD in the Eagle Dynamics folder.
Could you explain this a bit more please?

still crashes constantly even in single player.
This has definitely got much worse in recent patches.

Hi thanks for helping, I have removed the saved games folder (and mods, they are installed in save game folder) but it still crashed. I've ran a repair then removed mods, crashed again. Logs attached

My DCS Crashes randomly after between 30 seconds (in menu!) and 15 minutes.
Temperatures are all fine as far as I can see.
This only seems to happen in 1.5, I havent had 2.0 crash although it does occasionally freeze for a couple of seconds.
I removed saved games but that was when it crashed in menu after 30 seconds.
I also disabled the simshaker software but that didnt help.
I cannot see anything happening to cause it it seems very random. It's definitely got worse in the past few updates though.

Really frustrating for it to go from working perfectly to not working just because of an update. Still works fine in everything else

Doesn't work. Headtracker listed in options but no way to change axes, no impact in game. Thanks for trying though

Well most updates my headtracking files and folders get deleted, but maybe I'm following old advice on where to put the headtracker.dll
Can anyone confirm where to put the headtracker. Dll and .prefs for the latest build? I have searched and the latest I can find is to put them in the main dcs bin folder, not in a subfolder. But I have tried that, tried using headtracker subfolder, tried putting them in the individual aircraft bin folder, putting a seperate headtracker folder in the aircraft folder.
No headtracking on any dcs modules after update, was working perfectly 3 weeks ago. Freetrack working in other games.

Hi, every time an update comes it breaks my headtracking. Does anyone know how to get freetrack working with the new version of DCS?
DONT suggest opentrack as it doesnt work with wiimotes. Thanks

I can't get it to work in sound mode. Bass comes through the speaker in the pass through but nothing from the seat. Should I disconnect usb? The led changed colour. I tried running the jetseat handler and set that to sound mode as well. I'm testing by playing sounds with a lot of bass and firing tank cannons in arma
Edit: I've just thought- there is a built in amp on my speakers after the passthrough so maybe the volume is too low for seat. I'll try turning amp down and main volume up
Yea it was just too low volume going into the jetseat, I turned the main volume up and it worked fine

I'm confused as usual since I'm using the other package, the racing one that includes dcs world - is there an update for that or should I have both packages?

When using in soundcard mode eg for dirt rally would I be better using the bass output or the stereo (or rear speakers?)

Just recieved mine in the uk, only took about 3 weeks and as everyone has said Andre was brilliant throughout. I haven't tried it yet as it's my xmas present! Didn't have to give money to post office either
Oh can I add a +1 asking for dirt rally support? ?

I didn't post at the tine but I also got Andreys help getting a jetseat, ordered the other day and he was very helpful and replied almost instantly to my questions. Just waiting for the delivery now, hopefully it clears customs etc before christmas!

Unfortunately opentrack and FTnoIR don't seem to work with wii remotes, so they are no use for me

Freetrack will work with any 3 point device you just need to tell it the orientation and dimensions.
It really is not difficult to setup although it could be confusing.
I have reinstalled and set it up after a reformat from scratch several times and each time it takes minutes not hours.
Set size of led cap or clip
Tweak curves and sensitivity as you do with a joystick
Job done

Hopefully I'm not too late. . Don't waste your money on trackir, save up for oculus rift instead and use opentrack or freetrack in the meantime. They are just as good as trackir when set up correctly and a tiny fraction of the cost. plus you aren't supporting an anti competitive monopolistic company :smilewink:

I have freetrack working fine in a10c su25 ka50 and huey and I only have the headtracker folder in world

Imo yes but I haven't tried it so I could be wrong!
You should be able to use ppjoy to assign the various axes of the mouse to a virtual joystick and use it that way.
So it should work :)

Never mind: it was an issue with openVR advanced settings (just got a new version which has stopped it working)
Leaving thread in case anyone else has the issue.
