  1. I'm trying to make an airshow environment at Nellis and one of the hardest things has been creating a fence line that looks good. I have been placing the barriers down one at a time and I try to get the spacing right but they are often overlapping or are too far apart (gaps). I don't know how many I've laid down (probably a thousand) and I can't seem to link them together unless I get lucky with the spacing. The "Unit 1 of X" feature does not work so I can't drop one and easily add more (like I can with planes/tanks/ships). The link together checkbox is also not available (even after selecting multiple objects with SHIFT). The dropdown menu just reads "none". I have noticed the "Multi Selection" button at the bottom of far left menu in mission editor but I have been unable to figure out how to use it or what exactly it's for. There are far too many fence barriers to drop/orient/space one at a time. I've wasted many hours trying to get this to look good and I'm about to give up. Does anyone know of a solution?
  2. I'm new to all this Buttkicker SimHaptic stuff. Mine's not working yet. One thing I've noticed is that I don't have an "Update" tab. I downloaded SimHaptic about 5 days ago (activated not trial) and I only show the following tabs: MAIN, CLOUD, SETTINGS, ABOUT. That's it. I'm running version 2.1.7. How do I go about updating? I'm wondering if that's part of my issue. Or are updates now automatic and thus no tab necessary?
  3. When I try to extract the interface I keep getting a "Path too long" error message. How do I get around this? I'm now 1 year into using Stream Deck as my F-16 UFC. It worked amazingly well. It's a great solution and I love that I can download other UFC profiles (F-18, F-15, etc...) which makes this so versatile. I recently got a bigger hard drive so I've had to redownload and configure everything (DCS, flight control drivers, head tracking software, and Stream Deck). Unfortunately, the Stream Deck solution no longer works. I have the icons showing up on Stream Deck like they did before but, DCS doesn't recognize the plug ins. So when I push the buttons nothing happens in DCS. I wonder if this is because my previous version was DCS Open Beta but now it's just DCS (so the file structure is different)? I also wonder if its the fact that that the path for the interface is too long (I don't remember that being an issue last time). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  4. I would love to know the answer to this. My keyboard is kind of out of reach while playing and being able to bind a screenshot key to my streamdeck would be amazing.
  5. That helped. Thank you so much. Both items now mappable to my control panels. I really appreciate your time with this.
  6. Sorry to be a pain but I must be doing something wrong. I downloaded notepad ++ and ran as admin. I was finally able to save the file. But after saving and then running DCS neither of the above items showed up in the control mapping section. This was the path of the file I changed. C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\F-16C\Input\F-16C\joystick From there it was the default.lua that I changed. Is it the correct one?
  7. LeCuvier and Red Dog, Thank you both for your replies. I'm super new to .lua files and I am not familiar with admin mode in notepad. I'll give it a try. I appreciate the info.
  8. Dear Devs, Please make it so we can map 1) the Viper ejection seat arming lever, and 2) the altimeter ELEC/PNEU switch, to a joystick /control panel. I've spent hours trying to change the .lua files but i have not been successful. These are the last 2 things I need to map to be totally mouse free when starting up the Viper. Thanks for the amazing module!

  10. It appears I was going down the wrong path (Local Disk (C)>Users>owner>saved games> dcs open beta). That path has no F-16 Mods. Then, I found the following path Local Disk (C)>Program Files> Eagle Dynamics> DCSWorld Open Beta> Mods> aircraft> F-16C>Input>Joystick. But when I attempt to change the default.lua file I get a message that says I don't have permission to edit the file. So which file EXACTLY do I need to change? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
  11. I'm years late to this discussion. Sorry about that. I can't believe that all this time has passed by and still no default setting to bind the ejection seat arming lever to a joystick/keyboard button. What do I do if there is no F-16C mod folder that I can find? Do I have to create one and then create the .lua file myself? Thanks
  12. Red Dog, I'm a year late to this discussion but I am also trying to map the ELEC/PNEU and I'm not finding the proper .lua file. Do you happen to remember exactly where you put the code? I tried searching for default.lua but those only exist in aircraft mods folder and I don't have an F-16 mod. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
