that's hard to say, since it came up right with the update in question, stopped only yesterday. how the update might impact windows routines, or the other way around, is a question only the coders can answer, i guess.

from there's been no alterations of anything from yester-yesterday to yesterday and from yesterday to today, since the computer in question is exclusively used for dcs, but the problem returned today. it's definitely not been some sort of hallucination on my side, since i've been able to start, run and land the both f4s smootly yesterday, but today it's the same thing all over again.

ed-team: there's been a major decrease of lag today. it's been smooth in ways not seen since the update in question, and i'm checking every day. have you been doing anything, some sort of non-announced mini patch? otherwise, it has to be observed as usual, but it's been playable in a way making it hard to believe that it just happened without anyone touching anything.

problem persits after update (although i guess nothing's been attempted, since the team's been silent here). bought the corsair, trainingmissions are pretty much unplayable for this reason.

can confirm that it's bound to some sort of terrain-processing issue, or at least an issue regarding the terrain coincides with the issue in question, since i just moved an entire mission with multiple planes and ships right into the ocean in persia in order to avoid having to look at any sort of ground that's not water. the issue isn't there if i start from the carrier and stay over water. the overall performance isn't as good since the last update, so i get lag- and minifreeze problems here and there, but that might be connected to a lot of different problems, dealt with in other threads. the problem i was talking about is terrain-related, to whatever degree, and lines up with what others mentioned.

what exactly has your solution bee? just opting for windowed mode? i obviously want to replicate, if possible. first and foremost, congratulations for getting a solution, and happy flying!

just had my logs given to the support, but they got no clue what this is all about, after viewing the logs. solving it would be one thing, but without a clue this might turn out to be a very, very frustrating year.

for the ed-members: i wanted to rollback to the last update, but the command-box way doesn't work. i found this one here where an ed-staff member provided an easy rollback file, which i tried and worked for me, but of course, the version is not the last one, but way too old. if you could simply provide one for the last update, which would, in that case, be the last one for me to use every time until the problems get fixed - if ever -, this would be nice. thanks in advance. ---->

i receive stuttering every few five or so seconds since yesterdays update, running exclusively in a self created training mission which worked perfectly fine before, so it's not any sort of my own shenanigans. i guess genuine techies - which i am not - reported this in depth, so i'm just here in order to express my hopes for a quick fix. or should i turn back to the older version, since a fix is not in sight? best regards.
