  1. I have buttons bound in the options for the seat height adjustment up and down and when I press them the switch is animated backwards and forwards in the cockpit, but the seat doesn't move.
  2. I try to bomb an airfield in CCRP mode. I use the TGP and mark my target with the laser and yet the bomb is not guided by the laser beam. I am doing the procedure correctly and the laser code is correct. I don't know if it is a problem with the TGP, the GBU 12 or the laser.
  3. The engine get cooked after using MW-50. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. As far as I can see I think everything was fine. I'm adding two video. Both videos start with the plane on the ground. On the first one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O13tmPIuF2s&t=1080s at the very first time I started the MW-50 the engine get broken, while on the second one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYi8tz01jxs&t=895s while I kept the plane speed in range - I think - for some reason it got hotter and hotter till it broke.   5. When ATGM Stryker run out of ready to fire TOW missiles, they cant complete the reload. A player must get in and restart the rearm process by pressing CTRL+R possibly other vehicles as well.
  6. Building a mission on the Syrian map. M-60 tanks have a range ring in excess of 4NM and are engaging at that range with moving targets. T-55 has a range around 1.3NM. Chieftain MBT had a range of about 1.87NM. The later two are reasonable. Clearly, the M-60 105MM gun does not have a range like this.
  7. I noticed a lot of frame spikes and stuttering with radar ON, in latest OB 2.8.6. With Radfar OFF, there is no stutters in OB 2.8.6 (like previous beta 2.8.5). MT Branch. Please ED don´t get more lower the VR performance and fix this issue, F-18 is unplayable now at specially low level flight (maybe due extra radar calculations???) Any other had the same experience?   8. F-16 cockpit switches are recently all silent, all other cockpit sounds are normal. MODS folder empty SCRIPTS folder empty REPAIR done TRACK file and SOUND options attached. Thanks in advance. Silent switches.trk
  9. If you try and save it won't save it under it's original name that you loaded. E.G. Create a mission, save it with a name eg. MyMission.miz Fly that mission from the Mission Editor screen. Be in that mission for a minute or two, then hit ESC and then select QUIT. On the after mission screen click MISSION EDITOR. When back in the mission editor notice that the name of the mission has been changed by the sim to 'tempMission.miz' This is a bug.
  10. Hi. I have the L-39 since years and I havn't this issue until the last DCS update: On the ground, for taxing, the wheels brakes doesn't work correctly at all. I have affected a joystick key to use the brakes and when I press it, I can see the little handle for brakes moving on the stick. That means that my bind key is correct for the ground brakes. But brakes are working very bad, when they work and they don't stop the plane. For turning, I push the rudder in the direction I want to turn, when I've always done since I bought the L-39, then I push the brake key, and before, the L-39 was turning in the good direction, but now, not only, it doesn't turn at all, the brakes doesn't stop the plane, but, in add, sometimes, the plane turns in the opposite direction I want to go. Help needed please !
  11. No matter how many GBU's I throw at static structure named WC it won't even smoke
  12. ACM mode has lockon issues when having any angular velocity with respect to the target. STT lock is very slow compared to other aircraft in DCS. The initial "track box" which is created drifts off target before a lock can be achieved. This causes issues in a dogfight. ACM lockon.mp4 ACMlockon.trk
  13. F-16C I have been having an issue where my HARM missiles will explode directly after launch. Also my cluster munitions won't open and will just hit the ground.

  15. I have searched and couldn’t find anything in this topic, so my question: When having the pilot body on in the F18, the knee board that shows on the left knee is great. But can I add more information like AAR refueling TACAN frequencies, JTAC, or other airport information relevant to the flight? It would be nice to be able to have more information than just the carrier info. And perhaps be able to have multiple pages as well on the knee board. Including checklists. I have tried the knee board that can be brought up on screen and edited that one, however, in VR, the one on the pilot’s knee is more engaging and “realistic.” Thanks!
  16. During a flight yesterday I found odd behavior in regard to HARM POS mode. Usually I create a steerpoint where a known SAM is and lauch on that, which has always worked. But on this occasion my original target was destroyed, and I switched to targeting a Patriot battery. The attached screenshots where taken back to back with no changes made. Jet did not have TGP or HTS equiped. Instead of creating an entirely new steerpoint, I used the FCR to slew my SPI to directly over the site location. Here's where things get wierd though: as you can see in the HUD image, the ASL, TD box, and FCR ranging data (B034.1) all indicate launch and cueing data for the SPI directly off my nose. However the HARM Launch Scale indicates a target much closer that 34 miles, and the carat was actually moving UP the scale as the STPT was at my 5 o'clock and getting furrther away. I tried cycling POS sub modes, TMS up to FTT the target, and cursor zero + re-slewing the FCR to the Patriot. Unfortunately I did not get a screenshot of the FCR, but the SPI was on the Patriot site as shown by the TD box on HUD. There is no HARM FOV box visible in the image, because my screenshot captured in between flashes, it was present and flashing indicating in parameters for launch. When I launched the HARM it pulled hard to the right and went to the steerpoint behind me. null My question is whether HARMs in POS modes can only go to the original STPT, regardless of SPI from other sensors or offsets placed into the system. If so, I completely understand, but in that case I'd ask if the HUD symbology is correct, since the ASL and TD box seem to correlate with SPI/FCR data. I would attach the trackfile but it was 2+ hours and I dont have a time stamp. null
  17. Okay so I wasn't entirely sure where to put this but I feel this is most appropriate. So playing through mission 5 of the Blue Nosed Bastard campaign I reached the point where you engage the Bf 109s. I managed to put one on fire, got some good strikes on another etc but there was one in particular where I watched his propeller stop and thought “yep he’s done” and turned off. On the way back I fell victim to the insanely accurate A.I. gunnery and had to ditch (crash) in the water. I was watching my kill feed waiting to see if that Bf 109 I killed the engine on would crash, but he never did. So I pressed F2 and found him… The guy was literally flying in circles with a dead propeller, and I don’t mean circling and losing altitude in a glide, he was just circling with a dead engine and never lost a single foot, or meter in the Germans case. It was like he had some form of invisible thrust that combined with a perfect AoA, he could just stay up there forever, plane shot to pieces and a propeller seized in place. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, I just watched him for a while and he never lost speed or altitude. Then I pressed F2 again… The second Bf 109 I saw shocked me, he was flying UPSIDE DOWN with a dead engine and one landing gear wheel down (or up? In this case). I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, it was insane! As before he seemed to have this invisible thrust and would never lose altitude at all, heck he even gained some altitude at times trying to rejoin formation with the other guy. Then I pressed F2 again… There was another Bf 109 again UPSIDE DOWN with a dead engine (feathering), like the other guy he just kept going, flying gently with never losing speed or altitude! Three Bf 109s in one game that were defying the laws of physics, there is no way in hell anyone, even with the A.I.s perfect flying skills can keep a plane like that in the air. This is absolutely broken! I do not think there is anything wrong with the damage model, but the issue lies with the UFO-like abilities of the A.I. I tried to get a screenshot of all three aircraft but I was playing VR, and every time I pressed 12 it put me to a static object? I did save the track though, which is almost next to useless as it doesn’t exactly replay what happened, but I did manage to capture another upside down Bf 109 which sorta shows what I saw. This guy had a feathered prop and was flying like this for ages. Next time I encounter this I will get more screen shots, I figured out if I just delete the F12 key bind I can take screen shots again, albeit poor quality VR ones. UFO Bf 109.trk
  18. when i try to bring up the show control indicators, it shows 4 white SAS indicators, instead of the normal box that displays the current position and input of controllers. please bring back the original show control indicators! the Mi24P is also having the same issue!

  20. I've mapped a switch on my Hotas to close the canopy. That works fine, however I can't close the spider switch. I have to open and close the canopy again with my mouse.
  21. Like the title says, the game freezes after the GAU is fired. After several minutes it unfreezes, only to freeze again immediately, even without doing anything else. After about 10 minutes I gave up. Please; don't ask me for a Track. The reason is obvious. I can only provide a Screenshot.
  22. For the past few days I am unable to use any tank and most armoured vehicles and AAA vehicles as well as infantry from any country or coalition in missions. I place the ground units and they do not spawn in the mission once I start it the only ground units that spawn are anything to do with a SAM and unarmed vehicles, any airplane, helicopter and ship work and I can use in missions. eeee.miz The vehicles can't be seen in the F10 Map or spectated by using F7 because they do not spawn in, I have repaired the game files twice and started new missions and still the vehicles do not spawn. This all started when I copy and pasted USA Infantry in a mission the mission 4 days ago. A screenshot of an armored vehicle in the mission editor. The vehicle is not in the game after I started the mission nor can it be spectated. How can I fix this issue?

What I did try to fix this: 1.Removed everything in savedgame folder. 2.Runned a slowly fix with updater. 3.Clean install Nvidia driver without any nvidia configrations. 4.DX cache clean. 5.Reinstall DCS with Mi24P only. Finally,Don't make me reinstall the garbage Windows ok?My PC:Win10 Lastest + 5800x+64g RAM + rtx3090 + SSD +2K monitor(Only one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)+ No VR Pic and log below: dcs.log
  24. Whenever I place ground units into an upcoming multiplayer mission to be hosted on a dedicated server, they never seem to spawn in. I was able to pull the below list which is basically a list of the ground units I had placed. Does anybody have a fix that actually works for this? Ive tried a bunch of things including running the repair tool, i have no mods (vanilla install), tried in both stable then upgraded to OB. Definitely pulling my hair out over this one.
