Was also very disappointed to find I couldn't use this as a separate comms systems in the Spitfire, given it has only fixed radio frequencies. I figured this module acted just like any other aftermarket GPS/Radio that you see in the real aircraft upon what it's based. The manual mentions multiple times that you can tune a COM frequency, especially on the NAVCOM page where it lists nearest airport frequencies. What's the point if they don't work? I would have asked for a refund but it's still useful as a GPS when I'm having a bimble around and not being historically accurate.
