  1. It appears no one for the developer are interested in advising guidance and the discord is a wait and waste of time, The integrity check system of DCS will allow the retexture to join a server and fly the harrier with this cockpit retexture but if you leave the server and rejoin any server you will not log in with red shield integrity issues . I would not want to release to the public or my team mates a half assed retextured cockpit that would need to be removed and reinstalled every time you join a server. For this reason , this post is at its terminus Best Regards Wolfie
  2. Hello SkateZilla,

I am looking for advice and guidance and i think you have the answers to my question after google research and forum researching.

I have retextured the av8 bna cockpit but when i join a online multiplayer server and leave again the Integrity Check green shield in multiplayer mode turns RED shield as the files are installed into the mod ingame location and overwrite the original texture files , i would like to setup so the textures are in C drive savedgames folder structure as this i feel is good safe practice.

I have made F18C F15 and apache and huey cockpit retextures in the past and the harrier will not work if i do the same format the cockpit folder name shows up in settings / Special drop down window but does not show when ingame , so after a lot of trial and error i have found the only way i can get textures to show ingame is to overwrite the original textures , which is not good practice and i would not want to release or give the mod to anyone in this bad practice format.

I have been looking at how Mod Aircraft are installed into DCS  using the C:\Users\Username\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\aircraft folder and they have a zip file and Lua Entry file  , but i dont know if this is the solution to  not overwrite the original files with my retextured cockpit files.

I made the retextured cockpit for 2 friends that bought me the harrier and its my way of saying thank you to both of them for a wonderful plane by making them a special retextured cockpit.

I have made a cockpit retextured with Oceanic Wing logo and a version thats standard with no oceanic wing connection except it was made by me.

Can you help please , link to a video so you can see the cockpit below and any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Best Regards

    Tony

  6. Hello , i have played LockOn and DCS for many many years ! and this is my first Post on the Forums lol I need help / advice on Harrier integrity check solution , below is a video of the Av8 Cockpit mod its very close to completed. The way the Av8 cockpit file structure is installed within DCS seems to be totally different than any other aircraft i have made cockpit retextured mods for in the past, and does not work if i repeat the way a cockpit for F18C or C130 Hercules or Apache or even the F15C file structure is setup using C/ User/SavedGames structure. I need Advice from experts , here is the video , please help. Thank you I did post this on Razbam discord but the chat flies past that quick in discords it got lost in minutes. Any help greatly appreciated. Best Regards O_Wolfpac Oceanic Wing
