  1. @Esac_mirmidon @Rudel_chw thanks for the prompt response!
  2. Hello experts, I'm trying to avoid moving the DCS folder to the new drive as he path is defined in other applications and not only in the desktop shortcut. Does a symbolic link from the original folder to my new drive would have a noticeable performance penalty compared to moving the folder (both drives are SSD)? Thanks!
  3. +1 I see that Q4R also now offers an optional anodized aluminum screw - has anyone tried that?
  4. This mission was tough! I just completed it successfully after 4 long attempts. I enjoy this campaign so much
  5. Good for you! I did a complete DCS reinstall, no mods, and it's not resolved.
  6. All my latest tests are with no mods at all.
  7. @phtate0830 Do you also experience misplaced datalink tracks and PDLT (besides the strong winds)?
  8. In the last few days, I've been trying out everything, including cleaning up DCS completely and reinstalling everything without mods (more than once). My current assessment is that, very weirdly, it's related to M7 in this campaign. With the latest reinstall, I now flew LOWOS M5 + M3 (which has stormy weather) + a mission from the Gamblers campaign, and everything was just fine. Trying M7 again, and the crazy wind is back... @ChillNG I don't really have the knowledge of how this could happen, and I'll be happy to support you with any testing needed to resolve that. Thanks
  9. I've done the whole process again, including reinstalling the campaign and nothing changed... These are the steps I took: Uninstall the campaign Disable ALL mods DCS Cleanup DCS (slow) Repair Run DCS and test a free flight - OK Exit DCS Install the campaign Run DCS and test Mission 7 - strong wind again... I decided it's time to uninstall DCS completely and reinstall all from scratch!
  10. @ChillNG thanks a lot for your support. I’ll try a complete cleanup, repair and reinstall of the campaign. Will I lose my campaign progress? @bandit648 your weather mod is awesome, and I never experienced any issue in missions before. Thanks for supporting too.
  11. I'm sorry, but it seems that the weather mod is not the cause, and it was a "random" success. Again, I disabled ALL mods and performed a cleanup + slow repair, but the wind issue remained. I tried Mission 7 startup + first part many times, experiencing the wind issue. However, while trying to re-fly Mission 5 (first part), I had no wind problem; again, it could be "random." After many hours of testing, I'm clueless Any idea would be appreciated.
  12. Confirmed that the weather mod causes the wind issue. Tried to remove all mods, performed a (slow) repair - tested: no wind issue. Enabled all mods other than the weather mod - tested: no wind issue. Downloaded the latest version of the weather mod and enabled it - tested: extremely strong wind...
  13. Hi @ChillNG, I do have mods installed, but nothing changed in my setup playing the first 6 missions of the campaign and many others. The first thing I’ve tried is to disable the weather mod, but same strong wind. I’ll try disabling all mods and test again. Thanks!
  14. First, I love this campaign! I'm trying to fly mission 7, post the latest update - 2.9.11.4686, and it's unplayable due to the wind. The wind is way too strong and keeps increasing as I fly the mission. On my way to waypoint 4, while climbing to angles 26', it already crossed 300 knots!!!
  15. Exactly what I needed! Thank you It worked for me.
