  1. Much appreciated. I will check out the links and see what I can do. I do remember updating my Nvidia drivers also recently. I will see if rolling them back will help. Thanks for your suggestions.
  2. Hi, I've been going through the pc all day after the hornet keeps crashing when I set the air-to-ground mode. I update the BIOS, turned on all CPU cores from parked (says parked after the game crashes). I'm at an ends with this, so if anyone has some suggestions i'd love to hear them. Ive attached my crash log dcs.log-20240901-113459.zip
  3. Thanks so much. This got mine back up in no time. Though it still states in the Oculus app on my desktop V63...... but it works, all that matters. Some additional hoops so let me explain how I got this working for folks like me that need a step-by-step (ooooh baby etc...): 1. download the client and runtime from here. 2. stop oculus app: windows key and type "services" find "OculusVR Runtime Service" and right click to bring up properties. 3. "startup type" set to manual and apply. 4. restart the computer. 5. open C, programs, Oculus, support, save the files "Oculus-client" and "oculus runtime" as a backup (not needed but good practice) 6. copy downloaded files into each of these folders. 7. if files stop then something is triggering oculus software. 8. when complete, start oculus software and disable automatic updates, do the same on the headset if needed. 9. this should now boot up DCS as before. I am running windows 11 with quest 2 and the above has solved the issues for me. Thanks to everyone listed in the above links to making this available. Hope this helps as I have had to dig around a bit to find out how to stop services and what not.
  4. Hi, I didn't get a finger lift system for my Orion 2 base when ordering. And due to import costs this is going to have to wait. In the meantime, I thought it corking to have a crack at making my own. The design is only for the cut-off indent since I only fly the harrier at this point - learning the F/A-18 will take some time that I don't have at the moment. This design is not supposed to replace the wonderful finger lift system by WinWing, but may serve as a temporary replacement or a bit of fun only. I should also note, I am not a 3D expert, this took a few days to get right. The image has double-sided tape, but I modified it to have some bolts to secure it better to the base. The design is, hopefully, available for folks to modify - and I am more than happy for anyone to just go ahead and play with it to make improvements. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5986326 20230419_200517.tif 20230419_200527.tif 20230419_200537.tif
