Are you using PimaxXR?
If you do, going to PimaxXR control and choose either PimaxXR or SteamVr.
In my case, the problem were due to update 2.9 that reset PimaxXR to blank hence DCS won't load.
If you do not have PimaxXR installed and only using steamvr.
Got to setting in Steamvr and make sure the Openxr default running time is steamvr.
For 8Kx, for multi-thread. just run DCSbeta\bin-mt\DCS.exe (no need to include any quote)
