  1. Biggus what did you use as a gasket? I see blue. My setup up is similar except for the chair is a hollow plastic drag racing seat. My BST-2 is just screwed directly into the plastic. Maybe I'd get a better seal and therefore better performance with the gasket. Yes. I really am that stupid. I see now that you said you used a 12 mm piece of MDF.
  2. I took a video but I'm having a hard time uploading. I believe you know what needs to be done. I hope it works out for you. It made a big difference for me.
  3. So I'll use my on board soundcard in SSA? - exactly. Let us know how it goes.
  4. No. Don't do that. I have a Nobsound too, but maybe a different model. There is a separate 3.5mm Jack on the Nobsound. At least there is on mine. the audio cable goes from your sound card to your Nobsound. This is only useful if your sound card is NOT doing double duty in playing your system sounds, etc. I hope I make some sense. I will post a video.
  5. I used to have that problem. The resolution for me was to disconnect the USB cable from the amp and connect my sound card to the amp using an audio cable. My sound card wasn't being used because my headphones have their own sound card. That solved the "PC Mode" issue. They also resolved a problem where I would crash the plane and the bass shakers would let out a loud NOISE and then the SIMShaker software would crash.
  6. Thanks. I really appreciate your input. Do you think I just need to map the power, or some of the other functions as well such as test?
  7. Radar Warning Receiver - Is it functional? Is it useful. Just mappin' some buttons and want to know if I should give it a pass. I clicked on the toggle switches but it didn't seam to do anything.
  8. Good points. Thank you for taking the time to respond to my post.
  9. So I've been working on this for a while and think I'm almost there. I know I could put in supercharger, but it seams to me you can just leave it on auto and forget about it. Anything else I need to add. I'm running out of buttons. There are one or two duplicates and the Fuel Shutoff looks like it's missing, but its actually piggy backed on the generator switch. Anyway, in this process I've added Vaicom Pro and the Logitech Flight Switch Panel using DCSFlightPanels software. It never ends.
  10. I figured out how it works. There are three buttons but you only use two. "horizon cage" and "horizon cage knob OFF"
  11. And I resigned myself to have to use the clickable cockpit for this one feature. Now I find the scroll wheel for this isn't working half the time.
  12. Actually, the other 2 keybinds (one for cage and one for uncage) don't work either. It's a little annoying because up until now I have 50 keybinds all working.
  13. I know you can do it with 2 keybinds, but I'd prefer to use just one.
  14. Mapped Artificial Horizon cage/uncage to my throttle quad, but I can only get it to work after first uncaging with the mouse wheel. Anyone experience this? Any solution?
  15. More for immersion. But probably would forget about them in a furball unless my engine blew up. that might teach me. Thanks for commenting.
  16. Another test flight? More buttons. So I think what's happening here is I am running out of buttons. Just ordered a Logitech Switch Panel and with DCSFlightPanels software I can make them do exactly what they need to do. I can even combine the Radiator coolant and Oil coolant into one switch.
  17. Thanks for your reply. I had thought to make these assignments but each of them uses up four buttons. Would it work just to have "Open" and "Auto" for each?
  18. Also, would the recognition lights be used in gameplay? What about the landing light switch? I know it comes on automatically when the gear is deployed. Would you ever need to turn the wing and tail lights on and off during gameplay?
  19. I'm just about finished my map for CH Products Fighterstick, Pro Throttle, Throttle Quadrant, and Pro Pedals. Haven't flown much combat so I am hoping to hear your opinions regarding what I have selected already. I realize I should add some buttons for comms, but not sure which ones. Do I need to add something for compass heading as well? Thanks for your help. I feel I'm almost there.
