  1. Yeah, I have no clue why that seemed to solve it I guess maybe since the PSU was old and low wattage maybe it wasn't putting out power consistent enough, or maybe just not enough power at all or something I have no clue *which i noticed in my original parts list at the top the PSU is wrong, it was a 550 watt*
  2. Update! So my PC hard crashed after another DCS crash which resulted in a black screen (which then some how ended up corrupting my OS, im assuming from losing power during a write) Anyways, got a new PSU and had to freshly reinstall windows, and I think that may have fixed my crashing issue from what i can tell for now (though I havent played DCS much since then) I know from the limited time I have played though, I haven't ever had the error saying my graphics card is getting disconnected the reconnected, so I'm thinking that the PSU was the issue
  3. Yeah i can try to make sure stuff isnt running in he BG Ive already done mem test and wasnt given any errors so not too sure what else it could be I am planning on getting a new PSU next week, so i can update if that does anything as well if im still having problems by then

  5. Will do I do notice it stutters for a second before it crashes so I can usually predict that its crashed before the little error box pops up Also noticed doing the previous troubleshooting steps with debug mode made it take a good bit longer before a crash

  10. Hello I have about 800-900 hours in DCS so far and recently I've started to experience intermittent crashing all of a sudden. I believe it started happening after I swapped from DCS Steam Stable, to DCS Steam Open beta but Im not 100% sure if that's exactly when it started. Nonetheless, I've tried just about everything to try and solve it, and I seem to keep receiving the same error each time before the crash. DX11BACKEND (14944): DX device removed. Reason: 0x887A0006 I'm not 100% sure if this is the cause of the crash because it also only started happening after I started to join big multiplayer servers. Ive tried everything from creating a page file, buying new RAM, to completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game and nothing seems to have worked so far. I've read it could be a driver error, and completely removed my graphics drivers and freshly installed them again, flashed my BIOS, ect. And still, getting the same error and crashing. I've messed with my in-game graphic settings, and turned them to as low as possible, still crashes. And it doesn't just happen in multiplayer. It happens in single player, multiplayer, and in the Mission editor. It doesn't seem to matter if anything is going on in game too, it just seems to randomly decide to crash. So far I'm planning on buying a new power supply to see if that may be it (since it is going on 5 years old) but I haven't gotten around to it just yet. I do not believe it is the graphics card itself considering I've had it for a year or so and haven't had a single hiccup up until now I'd like to see if what you guys can make of it.
