@BIGNEWY Iam a bit confused . . . nothing new there . . . I thought the DCS VR crashing issue was a Meta Quest Link App Version - PCVR update to version 63.0.0.216.361 (63.0.0.216.361) ? Why does DCS have to come up with the fix? On the Meta Forums they are working on a fix as well. Can you also confirm that DCS is working with Meta to resolve this issue? Yes, I have read this entire thread since it was first posted back in February and get lost in translation . . . thus, the above questions. Thank you for your time! Aries . . . out

Hey just a quick follow up . . . no changes, still crashing to the desktop after 15-year splash screen. Damn the luck !!! To provide some retrospective here . . . This issue was notice after the 2.9 Stable release was announced. If my short cut has the "force_enabled" example: "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin-mt\DCS.exe" --force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR DCS crashes. If I use the new version (2.9 stable) without the "force" game launches as intended for 2D. So this begs the question. Is DCS using a proprietary version of OpenXR.runtime ???

@SlugHead . . . hey brother can you provide any other details on this said "ED Fix"? Where did you hear this?

Hey all!!! Meta just put out an update / hotfix for the PCVR Link App . . . I am retesting VR now and will post results! HOLD ON . . . This might be an update after I turned on Public Test Channel . . . I turned it off and it automatically wanted to revert to previous version . . . Sorry for any false excitement! Aries . . . out!
