  1. That did the trick, changing the co-pilot bindings. Thanks!
  2. I have recently discovered that the HOTAS joystick twist activates the rudder pedals, even though there is no assignment in the controls menu, therefore while using the rudder pedals I have, any slight twist on the joystick interferes and I cannot fly well. Repeat, I have no binding or binding option active on the control menu for the joystick twist (rudder). This does not happen on any other module and is confined only to the Gazelle. Would be good to know if this is happening to anyone else with the Gazelle and a HOTAS joystick. Thanks.

  4. I have noticed since the latest update 2.9.3.51704 that the Gazelle rudder is receiving inputs from my HOTAS X52 joystick and interfering with my rudder pedals, even though I have not got this setup in the control axis menu. All other aircraft and helicopters are unaffected. This looks like a bug specific to all variants of the Gazelle. Does anyone else get this issue?
  5. Yes, I have both the comms "\" key and the PPT "RAlt +\" key bound to my Hotas. One interesting thing is when I use the Comms Hotas bound button. it resets my view only... Fixed! I re-bound the comms from the settings menu. Now working. Thanks for your support!
  6. Thank you for your reply. The issue is that the Spitfire on my system does not allow me to open the comms menu, after creating my own new mission in the mission editor, the "\" key does not work. This includes where I have spawned into a new mission while either cold and dark or with engines running. However the Comms menu will appear if I use the "\" key on all other modules. Therefore this leads me to believe that either the spit alone is bugged, or I have a mod that is interfering with the process. I have also tried easy comms on and off, to no effect.
  7. Spitfire radio is on, but the comms menu wont open after pressing \. Works fine in all other modules. Is it working for you, as may just be me and not a recent update bug, I'm thinking.
  8. Anyone having issues getting the coms menu to open while on the ground in the Spitfire?
  9. Pretty sure Amiens was not in the new update...but will look into it:-)
  10. They race away from their parking slots and explode into a fiery ball of destruction!
  11. I have now added all the new airports, including: Biggin Hill, Manston, Detling, Lympne, Abbeville Drucat, Merville Calonne, Saint-Omer Longuenesse - Wizernes Here are the three zip files, which need to be copied to DCS install folder, DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\Normandy\vfstextures Make sure to back up your original files first. https://www.mediafire.com/file/isa4bl67pgbigf5/HardSplat.zip/file https://www.mediafire.com/file/j6gvpdse7q1be8k/HardSplat2.zip/file https://www.mediafire.com/file/dioryuzqrd3ygj4/HardSplat4.zip/file
  12. I have figured a temporary solution. This may take some minor file copying and manipulations, but its fairly simple. Make sure Barthek's Vivid Normandy is not installed and that Biggin hill textures are working as per DCS 2.9.1.48111 Open Beta 1. Download the free Paint.net 2. Locate the three files in C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\Normandy\vfstextures Find the ZIP files HadSplat.zip, HadSplat2.zip, HadSplat4.zip. Open them and you will see inside all the airports names. For example biggin.color.tiff.dds. in Hardsplat.zip and biggin.tiff.dds in Hardspalt2.zip and biggin.nm.tiff.dds There will be no biggin hill, if Barthek's mod is installed as the mod over rights the zip files completely. 3. make a copy of these zip files 4. Copy all three dds files to a new working folder Then install Barthek's mod. At this point you can simply copy the the files back into the zip files, ie, biggin.color.tiff.dds. in Hardsplat.zip and biggin.tiff.dds in Hardspalt2.zip and biggin.nm.tiff.dds into the corresponding zip folders - HadSplat.zip, HadSplat2.zip, HadSplat4.zip and your good to go. Rinse and repeat for all other new airports. 5. (Optional) Open Paint.net and open the file called biggin.color.tiff.dds and adjust the hue/saturation to blend the airport fields grasses to match the surrounding Barthek textures. Save and copy the biggin.color.tiff.dds back to the Hardsplat zip file, then copy Hardsplat back to your main DCS install folder, DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\Normandy\vfstextures Good to go.
