  1. Heya. So I did that, I don't think it helped much, I spawned on enigmas at an rather small airfield in the middle of the desert and i could actually fly rather smooth to an target, yet only because nothing was going on beside me. Anytime I looked at an player on the airfield it stuttered and then later when i spawned at another airfield it also stuttered just like before. I also noticed that, rather obviously, by renaming the scripts folder my srs stopped connecting to the game, so I renamed the folder from "scripts.bak" back to "scripts", which dropped performance again. I tried that already actually, sadly it made no difference. Still, thank you for your suggestions.
  2. Alright so I tried one more thing, thought it fixed it, but the stutters remain, so badly the entire game sometimes stops for 3-4 seconds and it never runs smoothly for more than 10 seconds. I renamed the scripts folder in the saved games folder to "scripts.bak", it made an impact I believe, but as I said, not enough. DCS also likes to crash ocasionally when joining a server, attached a log of such event. Yeah and it takes forever to load into a server and until everything is loaded when I am in the plane dcs.log
  3. lmao yeah thats probably it so while it boosted my perfomance in general, I strangely still got these stutters every few seconds
  4. Ok so I tried that, by going into the registry, went here: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\54533251-82be-4824-96c1-47b60b740d00\0cc5b647-c1df-4637-891a-dec35c318583, then set attributes to 0, then I wanted to have a look in the windows power plan, but I cant acces it no more, it says the rpc server is not available, anyway I just changed the value max to 0 from 100 and I read that is supposed to have the same effect. So the load time was still rather long, but that may be normal, especially for enigmas, but I actually had smooth fps while on the ground, on syria, in a forest area. I cant test it further until sunday unfortunately, but that still made very happy nonetheless. I don't think it is bottlenecking, my gpu is running at 90 to 100% while I was on the ground, and the cpu was at about 40 to 60%, I have read that seems to be normal. To my confusion, yes everything else runs smoothly, played through cyberpunk recently and had no problems. Thanks for your answers, I'll report back on sunday.
  5. Heya, I am really sorry since this is probably the thousand post of this topic, but I tried so much, I as a last resort wanted to post something here. So in short: I can kinda play singleplayer but multiplayer (tested on enigmas only) is unplayable, I need 7-10 minutes to join, another 1-2 minutes until I can select a plane and than it takes forever to load everything, even when all the textures are there, the frames drop to 10 after a few seconds, then to 80-100 again, and so on. My specs: - RTX 3070 - Ryzen 7 5800x3d - 32GB RAM DDR4 3200mhz - its installed on an ssd So far I have tried: - disabled Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator - Played on all high and all low setting, played with and without msaa/aa, played with max and min preload distance - tried unticking the cpu 0 in the task manager while the game is running - disabled power.msc - repaired/ reinstalled the whole game - closed all backround processes, only srs, aitrack and opentrack is running Attatched the log from my last try and a dxdiag. Sorry again for making another post about it, I am just really bumped out that it doesn't work. Thank you in advance for your answers. dcs.log DxDiag.txt
