  1. I have had several instances of the engine cutting out in flight and on the ground. After several times, I noticed the mixture was set to off. I made sure there were no conflicts in the mapping, even removing the keyboard binds. I still had the issue, and thought it may be a hardware issue until another player reported the same issue after his engine cut out tonight. It has also happened with my cowl flaps closing randomly. I am using Winwing peripherals, just incase that helps in any way. I have to say, I love the module so far! A few teething troubles doesn't bother me the slightest.
  2. NineLine, thanks for the suggestion. I am not sure where the zip file would be located, but I will do some research after this is up. I have been having the same crash every time. I spawn into any mission in any aircraft and fly for around the same amount of time before the game just crashes to desktop. I can rinse and repeat indefinitely. I will add the log for just a few minutes ago and see if anyone can see anything again. I will also look for the zip file you requested and post if I figure it out. Thanks as always. dcs.log These are some crash logs from earlier today, though they don't come up every time. Let me know if this is anything helpful dcs.20241002-154500.crash dcs.20241002-161024.crash
  3. Thanks Danger, I will look into that tomorrow. I did empty out the metashaders and one other file as suggested, of course AFTER I posted this. I played for a short time with no issues, but it is a sporadic issue. I will have to do more flying to know for sure if it worked.
  4. Hello all, Since the last (big) update I have frequent crashes to desktop. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game with no change. I also noticed that it seemed to be more frequent in the F4 (too be fair, this may just be perception), so I tried uninstalling it with an almost immediate crash after reinstalling it. I use VR with a quest 3 and the quest app with a link cable. I am running a 4090 with a 14900 processor and 64G of ram. I am definitely not good with digging around my computer and changing files and such, so hopefully there is a first grade level fix. I will also attach my log for the evening and see if anyone see anything. I appreciate any help as always, Nathan dcs.log
  5. will mess with that a bit diego, thanks!
  6. I have tried everything I can think of with my rudimentary knowledge of PC's. I began having some crashes at random times during online play. Sometimes just after taking off, sometimes much later. I have also had my PC completely shut down and restart a few times. I deleted all of my save game folders and it fixed it for a while, but it slowly crept back. Today I totally deleted and reinstalled with no change, and then deleted my saved games again. This fixed it until about ten minutes ago when it crashed again. One theory could be my power supply. I am running a 750 with a 4090, and an i914900kf, and 64 gigs of ram (all recently upgraded except for the PS). I feel like this may be my problem and wanted to see if I could get some opinion there. I think I may go with a 1000 watt regardless, but if this is likely to fix my problem id like to know. I will also attach my dcs log to see if anyone can see a problem there. I have been quite frustrated lately and would like to get this sorted! Thanks to all, Nathan "Toebone" dcs.log
  7. I lowered the resolution and it is a complete wheel now, but small and offset. I will tinker with it more later on and report. If anyone has another fix I'm all ears.
  8. My DCS has become an absolute dumpster fire the past week or so, finally today after much frustration I think I got it fixed... but then... I go into a server and get ready to cold start, and my Jester wheel is cut off again like it was on initial release. I went back and forth with the special setting for fixing the resolution with no change. I don't seem to see any other reports of this problem, so I am kinda at a frustrated loss. Any suggestions or a "Duh, here is the easy fix you should have known" would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Toebone
  9. I believe I tried this a time or two with no change. Again, maybe i didn't give it time to warm back up, but I did try it. Thanks for the tip though. I will keep trying.
  10. Hello all, Yesterday I was flying on the Aerobatics server and decided to punch out (because, why not!?). After I did this I watched my empty jet fly off the map to the Bermuda Triangle in afterburner. It seemed like a long trip with the burner, so I decided to try again today with less fuel and to be sure I was on full afterburn. I ejected with around 3000lbs and watched for a while as my jet flew on without the engines dying. In the end this is probably a pretty low priority bug, since it affects very little about the gameplay. I'd love to see if someone else can replicate it and make sure I'm just not doing it right. -Toebone
  11. I have had problems with the TV as well, although it may be user error admittedly. I was able to lob one AGM off today, but the second never showed up on my screen. This is after pressing the trigger repeatedly, and then giving it three minutes to see if it needed to warm up again. No joy. After circling the target for around ten minutes fooling with it I gave up.
  12. I just wanted to chime in and say I had this happen as well today on the 4ya aerobatics server. I had no tanks loaded, but was listening to the soundtrack. I thought that may have caused it but I don't guess anyone else had it going? I also don't remember dropping the boom. I feel like it was my initial approach to the tanker that it started, but I may just be blocking my failure from memory. I also agree with the OP, this module is awesome and I have no regerts getting it! Nathan "Toe Bone"
