  1. thanks for the answers. I think it could work with your tips. But I'm going on vacation today, so I can't try to drop the bombs until next week.
  2. Unfortunately I can't upload a video because you're limited to 50 mb, but I can still try to describe everything I do in the cockpit to get my laser-guided bombs to hit their target: I spawn in the air at an altitude of 20,000 feet 20 miles from waypoint 1 Away where a few trucks are parked. A/G mode on. Laser Armed. Click on code on the weapon page on the left DDI and enter a laser code (in my case 1438). After that I go to the HSI page and select the 1 waypoint as a Waypoint Designate Point. Then I go to Flir on the right DDI. My targeting pod is now looking at waypoint 1. I press Sensor Control to the right and can now select one of the trucks. Now I change the laser code from the standard 1688 to mine (1438) when I'm only 10 miles from the target I press Sensor Control to the right twice and the TDC Depress. As soon as the line appears in my hud, I hold down the weapon release button until the bomb drops. I now keep the camera on the target until the computer says the bomb has hit. But no matter how fast and at what altitude I fly, my bomb always misses its target by miles
  3. Hey guys! I bought the F18 a while ago and am currently learning how to use it. A few days ago I watched tutorials about laser-guided bombs and did everything exactly as in the tutorial. But after about 20 attempts I still didn't get a single hit. I noticed that the bomb wasn't guided at all and, like an unguided bomb, just went downwards. Even when the laser went on, the bomb didn't move a bit even though it was already over the target. I double and triple checked that all weapon pylons had the same laser code, that the laser was on and even tried to control the laser manually using the trigger. Nothing worked. Can someone help me with this problem?
  4. it worked with the buttons. Thank you Rob 10!
  5. boath L2 and r2 (button 11 and 12 on the linked photo) are axis. The probleme is you can only setup one axis for the rudder. But I want like I said L2 for rudder left and r2 for rudder right.
  6. Hey Guys, Im new to DCS. I Have bought two weeks ago in the Summersale some Modules including the F-18c Hornet. Havent found Time yet to fly this thing but now I want to learn it. Today I wanted to set up the Controlles on my Ps4 Controller (Hotas will come soon). But here is the Probleme: I want to bind the Rudder to L2 and R2. But that does not work because you can bind the Rudder only to one Axis (L2 or R2). Does anyone have an idea how I can use L2 for rudder right and R2 for rudder right. Sorry for my englesh Im from Germany
