Center Monitor somehow "masked" (only F16 and f18)
C180Pilot replied to C180Pilot's topic in Multi-Display Bugs
Thank you, When I saw the visor thing mentioned in the F16 and F18 changelog, I thought that it must have something to do with it. Went into controls and configured a shortcut to toggle it on/off and.... it worked! Thanks again and have a nice Sunday! Georg -
Hi, after the last update (to 2.9.21.16362), I noticed, that my center monitor and about one half of the left and right monitor are covered by some kind of mask. (see attached photos) This mask does not appear when DCS isn't running and also not with MSFS for example or other applications. The only AC affected so far are the F16 and F18. Neither the A10 nor any other AC have that problem. I am sure, that this is not a hardware or monitor problem but a problem within the F16 or F18 software modules. Before I know restore the entire DCS World can somebody give me a hint which aircraft modules I should restore or any other idea? Thanks in advance Georg A-10C II for example is not affected

Tobii eye tracker not working (continued...)
C180Pilot replied to Jimbo_Slice's topic in Multi-Display Bugs
Have you tried to copy the file „headtracker.dll“ manualy into the same directory as DCS world? -
Hi, hope I am not to wrong here at this place with my observation... Creating a mission on the Kola Peninsula at the Bodø Airport, I noticed, that sometimes my MFD,s were dimmed and flickering and the HSI was not being displayed. (F16 setup with three Winwing MFD´s) Researching that phenomenon a bit, I figured out, that this depends on the month of the year and the time of the day. For example: in January that happens over the entire day! in July it happens from 0:00 to 5:00 o'clock, In August from 22:00 to 6:00 o'clock and in September from 20:00 to 8:00 o'clock! Don't know, if somebody else has the same problem or if there is already a fix for it? Thanks a lot! Georg This is the setup for September 11th , 19:00 Hrs and this for September 11th, 20:00 hrs

New SimHaptic for bass shakers works great!

Just installed Sim Haptic and man, what should I say… It works!!! After having tried Andres SimShaker for aviators incl. the Sound Module, as well as the “Buttkicker” Hapticonnect Flight Pack software, I was very disappointed by the performance of those software packages and my Buttkicker Gamer Plus. I mean, both software packages work to a certain degree but either they are to complicated to install and run (SimShaker) or not all features work (Buttkicker’s Hapticonnect)! Sim Haptic on the other side is easy to install, after setting it up ist starts automatically with DCS and all features work. You can even choose between different effects for each point. I’m a Newbee to DCS and it can be very overwhelming at some point, but this is the kind of software I really like. Georg
