  1. I finally got my MOZA AB9 running with DCS. I'm using the Thrustmaster F/A-18 grip with it. I ran into a snag initially but MOZA support cleared it for me. I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of response on my request for assistance from this forum. It's the second time I've had zero response to a request I haven't tweaked any settings yet and only flew one flight with the F/A-18C using MOZA's presets. Although the '18 isn't the best choice for the full FFB experience, there's a nice level of vibration from the engines and some airflow buffeting. Since I have it hard bolted to a NextLevel Racing flight stand and seat, it provides more feeling than the hapics on my WinWing throttle base and WW Viper grip. At the current settings the stick requires a fair amount of force, but it seems much more precise than the WW Orion2. It was much easier to get the aircraft to an on-speed angle of attack and there was much less tendency to over control on approach and landing. I can't wait to get set up with the F-5 and F-4E.
  2. I've been trying to get the MOZA force feedback base up and running, but am frustrated with its interface with DCS. Reading through the posts here, I've installed the Moza Cockpit and indicated the path to my DCS installation. When I attempt to start DCS from the Cockpit, I receive a popup "Get an app to open this 'steam' link". I don't think my installation has anything to do with Steam. Any suggestions? Don
  3. I gave this issue a break over the holiday, but revisited it this morning. I found that I needed to use the drop down menu in the Add Assignment Panel to select the x and y axis for the left and right thrust assignment. I've never had to do this before since usually moving the respective physical control brings up the assignment.
  4. I just installed the F-5E and have been binding the various controls to my WinWing devices. I've been unable to bind the aircraft throttles to the Orion2 throttle base. The switches on the handles and base work fine, but the throttle axis on the base is not recognized. The base works fine with my F/A-18C module.
  5. I purchased the Orion 2 MFSSB Preinstall base, but have found it not to my liking. (MY 77 year old muscles tie faster than they used to.) I removed the components from the base and installed cams and springs to bring things back to something I'm more used to. I've had this for a week and have flown maybe a dozen times trying different settings in SimAppPro and DCS, but prefer the lighter touch. Installation is simple and I have taken photos of the installation for guidance to supplement the WinWing documentation. I'll sell the components for $125 including USPS shipping within the US. Payment through PayPal.
