As a 47 Flight Engineer, I can say the aircraft has a sound all its own. Up front inside its all fwd xmsn whine, which I think the devs nailed. On the outside I think it’s missing some C-box noise but thats something that would be hard to differentiate. If anything, id love to hear the bleed bands actuate when you reduce power but thats just me.

LCTs drive the swash plate so the aircraft maintains a mostly level attitude in fwd flight. When doing HAAR, we put the LCTs in manual to ensure the tip path is a far away from the basket/hose as possible. DASH Yea thats a good wat to look at it. It’s a link with 2 motors top and bottom. If I recall correctly top is no 1 system and bottom is no 2 system.

I find the flt model to be decent enough. She behaves as the real acft does on the ground in a 2 wheel taxi. 1 1/2 2 in aft cyclic and pull thrust. Fwd gear off and then reduce thrust to get a fwd roll going. Once the LCTs, DASH and DAFCS are incorporated it’ll be better. In all reality, the aircraft will handle like “bob” is flying when DAFCS and everything else is running.
