  1. Ok, so I just found out why my engines burn out via reading another thread (going ham on the rpm and boost management instead of using the correct power) However Restarting the engine is the problem im having. If I'm high enough, I Will try to use the pump choke 5 times. I also pull back the mixture control to idle, restart both magneto switches and push the starter and boost coil, but nothing. Am I thinking that the engine is well and truly fried and i either need to ditch or bail? Or is there an extended procedure to get it going again? I know prevention is better than cure, but the more you know, the less planes you lose during the battle of britain
  2. Hello cousin fancy seeing you here. I use blender, 3ds max, daz studio, after effects with the element 3d plugin. I'm planning on knocking up some pretty good flying scenes and story based videos mixed with ingame footage
  3. Just got some of the WW2 packs in the steam sale and looking to join an RAF group, and someone to help me get better with DCS. I'm not new to flight sims, been playing them since the sinclair spectrum and Atari ST days. Did Lan link ups with my dad in microprose f29 retaliator on the Atari before the internet was a thing. Been playing star citizen since 2016 and IL-2 Stormovik up until now. Mainly been solo so I don't know what I don't know if that makes sense and I guess I need some mentoring and to join a group to do active missions
  4. Hello All, this is my first post here. I just moved over to DCS from IL-2 Stormavik and got myself a decent ww2 pack in the steam sales including the Spitfire, Channel map, bf-109 and I'm now learning the DCS way of flying the spit. So my question is about the waypoint system within the map/mission planning screen. When I take off, My plane has a line parented to waypoint 1, but when I reach it, the waypoints do not update and change to waypoint 2, 3 etc.. Now i know ww2 planes did not have a gps system or any kind of computer waypoint system within the cockpit, but I just need to know how you change/update the waypoints within the map screen. Clicking on the waypoint, highlights them and gives you information about them, but apart from that I can't seem to interact with them, and have to complete the whole mission while parented to waypoint one. Any help? Regards
