A cold dawn settles over the Arctic edges of the Kola region, locked in ice and silence. Engines roar. Tension climbs. From a highway stretch repurposed as a makeshift runway, two F/A-18s rise into the frozen stillness. Their objective: strike forward enemy positions, deep within the heart of their air defense network. Then suddenly — an SA-10 shatters the silence, tearing through the frozen sky. What follows is unlike any exercise. It’s a fight against the invisible— a storm of missiles, maneuvers, and raw adrenaline.
