  1. Thanks for your response gentlemen. Yea I just retried what you have mentioned, but it did not have an effect on anything, that is what strikes me odd. I will try and attach a couple of photos.
  2. So I got a Oculus Rift for Christmas and it seems to work for the most part. I can play some missions and campaigns but I am having a terrible time seeing the text on the console and seeing objects over .5 km away. I know there is a setting somewhere but I just can't find it. I am looking for a direction to go at this point. I have spent the last 4 days looking through various post and hundreds of searches here and other locations. I also notice that when I change settings in DCS nothing changes to the display, i find this very weird but I am new to VR so not sure what that is about about. I was making small changes at first then I decided to just use the pre-selected low, med, high, and VR settings and absolutely nothing changed. Any help please, thank you for taking the time to read. i7 5820k 16gb ram GeForce GTX 1080Ti 12gb 1Tb SSD Ryan
  3. UGH!! Ok will try again. Thank you for your response Rolds.
  4. How do you skip it? I've stopped flying the Huey because of this.
  5. Yes sir, I did run the bat file. It's weird I followed all the steps (or so I thought) and I didn't get anything strange.
  6. Great let me know what you find out. Side note I did copy the files from the L model into the M model and the missing textures went away. I did copy the cockpits from the other models before doing this so I can revert back at anytime. This seems to work but I don't know if the other models have any extra / different gear or not.
  7. I just downloaded your MOD for the English cockpit (thank you very much for it and the others you do). I'm getting missing textures for all the Gazelle's except for the L model which is correct. Would I need to just copy the files from the L cockpit into the others or is there something I'm missing? I did read in this post about the issues and then you came out with v1.4 I'm using v1.4 right now but still have the texture issue. Again thanks for your help.
  8. Well I hope they do modify it because I am keeping everything in the green and good status the entire time, it just blows up. I'm stuck on the 3rd or 4th mission in my campaign and I cant do it because the of this problem. in my fact my flight lead leaves me in the dust because he seems to have a super Huey I guess. That's what bothers me the most is that I can't even keep up with the AI because their machines fly faster and stronger than mine, it just doesn't make sense to me.
  9. Yes, It's still happening. I had to go out of town for work for a couple of weeks but am now back at it. So yea it is still happening. I have no buttons assigned and can be traveling along normal, in formation with my flight lead (AI) and all of the sudden boom engine blows up and down I go. This is so sad at this point because I really do enjoy this machine.... Any recommendations on a different helicopter? Any suggestions on how to fix this one?
  10. BlacleyCole, Thanks for the tip. I went ahead and re-checked all the assignments through DCS and found some odd things, unassigned the switches and have done two hours worth of flying with no problems. Thanks a lot for the help everybody.
  11. Ok Great guys thanks for the info. Yes I'm using the Hog system, I have some of those keys assigned to some item right now but I may just disconnect those switches and see if that solves the problem. Ramsay - thanks for the info.
  12. Thanks guys. Yea I've doing that so far but I will double check it again the next time I go flying. It has happened on every single flight I did sometimes within a couple of minutes of flight sometimes after about 20 min. I used to fly this bird all the time and never had this problem, it's very strange. Once again guys, thanks.
  13. So I'm getting back into DCS and am flying the Huey, when all of the sudden the engine apparently blows up mid flight. I thought this was just a bug with the training missions so I started a Campaign and I'm flying along at a level 4,000' at 90-100 knots and the engine just blows up. I'm really confused by this. Is there a bug or an update that I missed? I'm on 2.5 right now, it just updated a couple of days ago. Thanks for any help.
  14. It would be nice if you could ask the Autopilot/cheat pilot/ co-pilot (whatever you want to call it) to keep it at 200' above the ground, or whatever altitude you prefer while you tune radios or what not... IMHO. Now my question is, does everybody else's autopilot drift to the right about 3-5 degrees every kilometer or two?
