I think its a great campaign, but having to buy it bothers me quite a bit when I see golf courses and beach front resorts and modern day vehicles and Humvees. Really ruins it for me. If it were a free campaign then who cares. But for my very hard earned money, I expect quite a bit more effort. Just lazy work.

So I guess if we're using the Steam Version we get screwed out of the pre-order discount or it won't be accessible at all? From what I see is it says "may be available for steam in the future."

I agree. This airfield is totally messed up and very unrealistic. It ruins the entire experience, as do many of the errors and bugs in DCS. I think all of their products are very over priced for the number of problems, especially when they don’t respect their customers enough to fix the issues right away. Or, here’s a novel thought, fix them before offering them. The problem is that they have no real competition in their specific market. I think as soon as something better is made we’ll see DCS fade away into memory simply based on their quality practices. Hopefully soon.
