My issue was with the AI choking on setting up attack on enemy aircraft. When I put "weapons hold" and "ignore threats" they flew just fine. Everything still falls apart without very, very tight handholding. The AI had to scramble. Cold start, taxi, take off and climb to intercept. It seems the AI went into attack mode almost immediately after take off and choked on it.

Same here. Also a bunch of modules failed to authorize. Investigating. The game seems to work normally on the 2nd try.

@Temetre My MIG-21s are flying around 100% braindead. Nose up 15ish degrees 250-300km/h with full afterburner. Unable to fly a straight line while navigating and unable to climb higher than 6000m.

Do you have your external lights on? If the deck crew has those glowsticks they won't let you go without the lights.
