I'm afraid you will not be able to use the SFP1 models unless you have the source .max file, and they are not available at combatace... you will have to contact personally the creator of each model and request his .max file of the model (or request that he does the exporting).
Anyway I'm sure many of the modelers will provide their models or will do the process themselves ;)

SFP1 models are somewhat below LOMAcs standards. I was looking for something richer and more up to date.

Nowhere does it say that the topic be exclusive of SFP1 models :disgust:

I dont think ThirdWire has anything to do with 3rd party mods, them all being freeware
Not unless the model is not 3rd party, but MADE by Thirdwire, as in the case of the phantom in the screenshot :music_whistling:
... And I doubt Thirdwire is going to grant permission :ermm:

"FSX Demo requires 15.0 GB of free hard disk space" no wonder why my pc was having problems with the installation process
I will have to let this pass on until I am not limited to a laptop

Wow! it sure is much more costly than I thought for a single aircraft :greedy:
-
For $50K dls they may consider it ;)
-
looks... expensive :music_whistling:

Is there any official word yet as if one will need FC in order to play BS?

Hi all.
:icon_wink :icon_jook :icon_weed
I'd be a great beta tester.................yep, sure would, uh-huh, yep.
I could provide all kinds of feedback about how every jet I fly isn't working the way I THINK it should. That every missile I fire is porked. Hell, I'd even provide useful feedback about the depleted urainium rounds. I have a load of freinds who could help with the feedback too. They know someone who talked to someone who is related to someone that watched Discovery Wings and they say that it is not modeled right.
Yep, I'd be a great beta tester. So what do you say ED? Having me on the team would just speed the process right along.

So do you think that a beta tester needs to be a rocket scientist? I don't think so ;)

But why only F5,Su17,Mig23 and Mig25? if we are going to dream let's not restrict ourselves, I want F-14, Av8b, F-8, F-4, Mig31, Av8b, F14 and F-15 wait, that is already in the game
Well, the point is IMVHO these kind of suggestions are just dreams ;) (nothing bad with dreaming) and that ED already has a very good idea of what they want for their products (or at least for Lock On)

I don't see the need of making such high detail weapons
All you do is to make the game even less playable to us mortals with not enough money for an uber PC :(

I always wondered how would Garfield look in real life :p

I find it wierd, I can't add to my own reputation

stupid question
will I need 1.1 to play 1.2, I ask this because Im interested in the helo but not in the su-25T
-
2 Thz = 2024Ghz!! that is insane!!
A friend of mine who is too much into PCs once told me that we were already too close to the theoretical limit of speed, I guess I should have asked what that limit was :icon_roll

How can people buy a download version of 1.1 without a credit card now?
And what about a debit card?, I am poor student without credit card but have use my debit card many times as a credit card, buying stuff online
Headtracking effect - A true 3D perspective "window"

Watching the video again I realize that there is indeed a difference between what TrackIR currently does and what is done in the video:
With 6DoF TrackIR, horizontal movements (read, along 1 axis) of your head form left to right are transformed into horizontal moves from left to right in the game; but in the Wii video these are not tranformed into horizontal moves but horizontal rotations. Have in mind that the TrackIR hardware is perfectly capable of doing that as well, it would be just a matter of programming the capability this "mode" in the game
But if you ask me, I don't see the usefulness of that in a flight simulation :music_whistling:... maybe something cool but nothing more, just like a clickable cockpit. I like what my TrackIR does now just fine
