Just wondered if theres anyone out there who wants to fly on both 1.02 and 1.1 versions of lockon, but hasnt yet figured out how to do so with HL.
If you copy the 1.02 install to a different folder, and then install 1.1 into another folder..
Then when you start HL for the first time it will ask where HL is, and you can point it towards what version of lockon you want to play online,
However this is no good when you want to change to the other version.
Therefore i found that if you use a simple folder hiding program such as
"Folderaccess Pro 2" . available at http://www.downloads.com
with this you can hide the directory you dont want to play online with..
then HL will ask where lockon is again, and you can point it to the other install.
when you want to change back, just hide the other folder, and unhide the previous folder... Simple!
No doubt there are other programs you can do this with .. but folderaccess was one i already had installed. . .
I've tried it . . it works!
...and hense you can fly with everyone out there :-)
