Ok, I have the stable version. That actually answers a couple of questions I had about DCS then. Thanks for pointing that out...I'll just be patient and practice landing this thing in the meantime!

This might be a noob question, but my F-18 isn't updating. I bought the module last week, ran the updater this morning, but I still don't have weapons, like the maverick, that has been released for the F-18. All I have are gravity bombs and zuni rockets for weapon options. I ran the updater for DCS world from the Eagle Dynamics folder in the start menu and ran a downloadable updater from one of these threads. DCS world is current, 2.5.3, and the updater now tells me DCS is up to date when I run it again, but I don't have the weapons that others on this forum are posting about. Any help is appreciated!

Same thing here...error code 409. Yes, I'm in online mode. Flew one mission in off line mode then turned it back on. I've got an open ticket with support, but has been a couple days since they responded and all they asked was if I was back in online mode. Has anyone seen other fixes or know what support has done to resolve the problem?

At first, I thought I was flying at night. There is the sun and stars in the sky, but no sky texture and no light being emitted.

Any ideas what could be causing this? I just bought a new i5-6400 with 12G RAM and intel HD 530 graphics.

My computer never gets past the "DCS" splash screen. It simply fades to white, and I get the "DCS is not responding" error message. Then it closes. I've uninstalled & reinstalled - nothing. I downloaded the 4 dlls on the first page - nothing. I've done the update using the command prompt - nothing...still white screen and not responding. Version 1.2 works just fine. 1.5 was working well until hotfix 2 came out, but now it won't launch at all. I have an AMD A-10 3.8 gig processor, nvidia 7900 graphics card and 8G RAM. If anyone has a clue, I'm open to suggestions, otherwise, I'm going to sit out on the sidelines until another update comes along.

What if that still doesn't work? I hit print screen and it takes a photo of my desktop. Does it go to any particular folder in the DCS World folders? Thanks!

Hello, I just installed a new hard drive on my computer and lost all my previous DCS activations and profiles. I reinstalled FC3, A-10C, P-51, MiG-21 and a couple others. I tried to start up FC3 and the Warthog activation is asking for my activation code. I went to the profile page on the DCS website and cut/paste the code into the dialog box. It says it is in error. Tried with the P-51 and get the same error. I'm using the 26-digit code with the dashes but for some reason the Warthog activation doesn't like it. Am I looking at the wrong code? Please help!

Real airplanes require trimming often when the autopilot isn't used. Consider the longer you fly, the more fuel you use, the lighter the plane gets which affects flight characteristics, in addition the things mentioned earlier such as ever-changing weather, etc. For me, this is one of the realistic points of the Sim.

Great, thanks. I did mean power settings...I was looking for engine rpm/percentage readout on the 'oboroti' gauge to maintain speed.

Hello! I've been flying the MiG-21 for a couple weeks & have been absolutely loving it. Since the flight model is professionally made, does anyone know if there is a document with known power settings for various phases of flight to maintain airspeed? Such as cruise settings (depending on altitude) descent & approach settings? What works best for those that fly all the time to maintain airspeed? Thanks!
