Would like to revive this thread as I spent about an hour troubleshooting the same exact issue last night. Eventually restarting my pc forced a steam update and I THINK that fixed it. I also updated a Windows 10 patch so that may have fixed it also. Cheers

Yes I misspoke but those are the ones I deleted and haven’t repopulated. I guess my question is how do I get the files back and why hasn’t affected the game so far? I’ve managed to load I to caucus, Nevada, and Persian gulf with no issues

The VR optimization guide instructs you need to delete those folder contents as well as your FXO and metashaders2 folder in saved games after installing the mod.

I do agree that the rotating clouds are annoying but not new at least not in the last couple builds. Falcon BMS had the same issue with trackir. Wish I could describe what I’m seeing a little better. I can see some clouds (not all) are Fuzzy and hard to see, like they aren’t being rendered correctly between each eye. Again I think it might be a canopy reflections thing but why it only effects some of the clouds I don’t know Edit: I also notice my metashaders folder in Bazar are not repopulating for any theater. This is weird bc I’ve flown in all 3 since updating.

Does anyone else notice anything funky with the clouds in VR after installing the mod? It’s like an invisible canopy reflection is making a few of the clouds in my Field of view look weird, fade in and out with my head movement, almost like they aren’t being rendered correctly. Cheers!

I’m having similar issues with poor tracking of the Rift S, only in DCS. When I start the game I immediately get stutters which eventually result in the oculus crashing and some message that the headset cannot be found (time varies, but happens regardless of in or out of actual flying). Restarting through oculus home doesn’t work. Have to completely restart. Tried similar solutions to coxy with no success thus far
